wow what a beautiful jumbo she is..those engines look so powerful.those guys are very lucky to fly such a nice big plane all around the view and see so many great views that very few people get to see..i wonder how many flight hours/years it takes to be a captain or first officer in one of these planes?

The answer to the trivia is Alaska. the Aleutian islands extend past the Intl. date line, or the division between east and west. you also have to remember the shape of the world. If you head south the you'll eventually hit Alaska.

I took air new zealand 772, when landed at Beijing China or came back to Auckland, I didn't here the reverser, even my seat was at wing area, is that because 772's reverser is designed very quiet? or the reverser didn't even open? Most controled by brake?

Depending on the country, some only allow what's called 'reverse-idle' which basically means the reversers are opened but no power is applied, hence idle.

I suppose if the runway was long enough, and your taxi off point far enough down it then the pilot may not require reverse, just autobrakes.

i like the new electronic lcd side panel computer gps system they have for ground taxi operations. It actually is amoving map of the airport. they can load different maps for each airports. its basically a moving map gps system with taxiway mapping. that must be handy especially for low visibility taxing. i wonder how pilots feel about an entire digital flight charts and paperwork. If it was me there are still time when i would rather look at something on paper than an lcd screen as bacup

Great video the 777 is my favorite jet, lots of great info here i have learned a lot. The nose gear & flight surface camera's are great, i didn't know the 777-300 had one. In fact i really didn't know, any jet had that feature..wow! Lastly great shot of the fmc, wish all aircraft in FSX had one.

No, in fact it's been around even on the earliest B777's. Also now airlines are equipping there 777's with Electronic Flight Bag's (EFB's) so jeppesen charts become obsolete.

If you haven't, then you should. It's a very realistic model with full EFIS and even a working weather radar!
