well we see just how smart of a firefighter you are mr. leakage182..i work full time in the city of durham on ladder 1...i am now a captain on ladder 1..do u think i dont know what a fucking fill site is...and did i say anything about running to a hydrant..u have about 4 or 5 other trucks coming in..its a mobile home..there is plenty of water to put that out mr. internet toughguy...think before you speak dipshit
how come u guys are needing to set up at a dry hydrant ??? it looks like a surrond and dround and it sounds like u got several engine and tankers on scene so y didnt u guys just use there water and set up a dump tank??
Have you ever heard of a fill site? I have no idea where you are from but I live in the area from where this fire was. We have a mountainous terrain in this area. its better to have an evngine primed and ready to fill a tank than having other tankers shuttle water back n forth from the hydrant after drafting and whatnot. it wastes time. Think before typing mr internet toughguy....
I didnt want to sound COMPLETELY negative: more YoutTuber's could learn how to record responses - place the camera mic near the apparatus' speaker and place the cam in a location to record the suppression. Nice job taping!
Volunteers always wonder why career firefighters lack respect for a lot of volunteers: no SCBAs?!?! Is there no Safety Officer? How about the Chief or Assistants? Does your department NOT have SOPs?
genius the engine in this video was first responding wihich means the firefighters that were walking around did get any scbas because they showed up in there own vehicles and why do u need an scba no ones is going in any building im a volunteer and i know some volunteers that are ten times better than any full time firefighter good work guys nice job
All members of the public, firefighters, and emergency personnel-The `establishment` has failed in their duty to tell you of this.. Google paddyanddollydotnet and read FIREBURN MEDIA ALERT, tell all your friends and keep that number in your back pocket 24 hours a day.
obviously you dont know wat you are taliking about if u have ever been that close to a fire like that and your outside the smoke really isnt that badddd
you know... I read alot about the sirens and the Q... frankly I could care less about it.... they don't teach sirens and lights in any of the classes I've taken... it's all about who jumps in the seat next to you and what they hit... in the country, it doesn't matter what is making noise as long as it gets people's attention (which in most cases, they don't hear it anyways bc they're blasting their stereos or gabbing on their phones)... drop the siren issues and comment on the videos
humm not tryn to be ignorent but do you guys use air packs ?

Loved watching the firefighting progress and especially listening to all the radio and coordinating comments. Terrific video!
