firstly let me say,,kocur without a doubt in my mind was the best ever. he was one of the very few fighters no one wanted to go with. other enforcers would go for probie before kocur all the time. and this was before probie was proclaimed the champ. kocur is a very layed back guy and never made a big deal about who the best is,,same with probie. thats why they were the best. if you think about it the 2 best fighters in nhl history were on the same team while in their prime..pretty sick.

This wasn't a real fight, it was just for show. Kocur was out of hockey and wanted a job so he called Probert and asked him to goon it up against the Red Wings so the Wings would want an enforcer and Probert obliged and then Kocur called the Wings and asked if they could use his services and they signed him. That, and this fight, was Probie helping his friend Joey stay in the league.
