To be honest, troop and civilian deaths in Iraq are much more sparse and the country is entering peace, a good example is the first plane from Iraq to a western country took of recently, landed in the UK. We went to Afghan to eliminate the taliban threat, I don't know what other reasons you might be refering to. Secondly there were WMD's in Iraq, Sadaam's generals have said that they saw the WMD's. Furthermore, more people died and in more painful ways in Iraq under Sadaams rule then in this war. On top of all that, all revenues from oil are going to the reconstruction of Iraq not to Fat Cat pockets, so how is this war about oil? Try to get educated instead of jumping to conclusions.

As far as torture and more people dying under Saddam's rule then now. That is not a justification for our actions. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Saddam was our ally, and Osama and him were bitter enemies. Torture is never a good policy, unless all you want to do is break people... and that's exactly what the US is doing.
