boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. talk about tearing a song apart. This is a song that you shouldn't sing in a different style. The words aren't as powerful anymore. The high tenor belt is a million times superior, and a baritone has no place even attempting this piece. Ever.
this live version is actually 2 semi-tones down. Instead of beginning on an F he begins on an E-flat. It is still magnificent and he remains one of the best pop/classical singers ever in my opinion.
im sorry but wut part are you talking about that he sang an octave lower. i cant seem to find it lol i feel kind dumb seeing that im studying voice in college
dood what happened at the end? did he really fall off the thing? i couldn't tell! grrr it'a aggravating me. i had never heard this song live and it's so beautiful. but i have to agree on the singing an octave lower, it's the best part of the song, and he changed it! :( but yay for CDs! ^^ I'm gonna go watch it again to see what he did at the end there. that's bugging me.
sweeeeet . . . . . i wonder if he's scared of heights. . . . hmmmmm. . . . that would have been freaky. lol ^^ i wouldn't have done it. :P I'm a chicken
speaking of him being scared of heights, i remember watching a vid from fojg and he's at hershey riding a rollar coaster. he acts like he's all scared its so adorable and his bodyguard is telling him to take it like a man lol he's so cute :] yea i give him props for falling, im a chicken too when it comes to heights lol
Yes, he did fall. But that was a huge soft thing he fell onto at the very end. This concert is on DVD and you should check out the special features. It shows this scene b/4 the concert.
UGHHHHH!!! he sang the best part, lower. sigh sigh sigh... Ive been searching for a live version of this forever and its been a disappointment. much love for him though, at least he did it in the studio so I could taste it. =)

Beautifully sang by Josh! And beautifully written by Benoit Jutras for Cirque du Soleil's Quidam. Nice!

he sings the high part towards the middle lower. it may not be an octave, but it's def. lower and removes the energy of the song in my opinion.
