I don't really think they died before their time. They were lucky to have lived as long as they did. When you totally abuse alcohol and drugs, drive at high speed, fly when the weather is terrible to make the next gig, don't get the rest your body needs, generally burn the candle at both ends and/or commit suicide - IT'S YOUR TIME.
@carlvis1 , Instead of complaining. Make a suggestion. Write and compile a new article, email it to us and we will consider replacing our work with yours.
@flashbell I would love to do that and I would do it right if this was my job. But it's not my job, IT'S YOUR JOB". I have a job a family and very little time. But I like to read what other people write. If it's good I'll say so, But lets face it (and I'm not alone just read the comments) This article was bad!!!
@carlvis1, I asked you to come to me with a solution, not a complaint and you just made excuses. I am 65 yo and I work a full time job and a part time job. I don't do this because it is my job, but because I want to share my vast knowledge with other people. I doubt there many people who know more about original country music than me. BTW, you are the only one who criticized this work. This work stands on its merits.
@flashbell I was raised on country music. I have collection second to none. I've been to the Grand ole' opry & the Ernest Tubbs record shop in Tennessee. I do believe I know more about country music then you but that's Irrelevant to my point, All I'm saying is your list is not very good! Which it's not!!! BTW, Have you not read your comments it seems, there are plenty of people saying this list is not very good!!! Don't take this negative criticism to seriously, It's all in good sport.
@carlvis1, I don't know you, so I can't say what you do or do not know. I am a country music historian though. If you have knowledge, why not shate it. Meet my original challenge. This is my final comment on this issue.
@carlvis1 Great is subjective, but remember that they died young - who knows what they would have done if they lived as long as the old greats still living.
@MrTravellingsalesman I think I have a lot more experience then you do in this field, But that's not what I'm saying!!! What I'm saying is what everybody else is saying so don't get upset! This not a very good job on this topic! That's all.
What a sweet but sad song by Wynn. I have always loved his music, ever since I heard 'It's Such A Pretty World Today" I have been a big fan. To see the pictures of these wonderful true country artists, it brings back memories of seeing them on various TV shows - a few of them in their personal appearances . These legends are what helped make country gold what it is (was) and they were winners when it comes to great entertainment. Thankfully we have a few real artists left. Thank you. - Paula
it seems like the best ones are dead or retired !

I was just trying to honor some deceased artists and provide a little info about them. I didn't think it would cause all this stirr.

@TruegrassBoy Apparently the Super greats don't make this list!

@carlvis1 , You need to look at Twenty Country Legends Who Died Before Their Time, Part 1 before getting all worked up.

@flashbell ??? Apparently the only one who is "all worked up" is yourself.

@TruegrassBoy , You was complaining that we omitted some artists when we had them covered in part 1. That's all!

@flashbell I never get worked up. I just know when someone does a crappy job!
