You are all so very welcome. I am actually from Montreal. Toronto was my second home in the early 80s... I made this after learning of the death of a friend from that era, Tracy Wright (she is pictured at the end). I now live in the States, miss that old town dearly.
Thanks for the great video to one of my all time favourite songs. I am sharing it with my sister who is teaching in China. Great old footage of our hometown.
awsome song and super great video filled with alot of canadian icons i wish i lived in toronto back in the 60's &70's it would have been a blast back then. now you cant walk around toronto without wondering if your going to get shot.to bad one of the greatest city's in the world is going to shit.
Wow, talk about memories. I did not have to get out of my chair to take a long walk down memory lane. All those places I've been in my little town of Toronto through all these years. Awesome. Thanks for posting.
In the the early 70's I was of those wandering children, hitchhiked from Alberta to Ontario at 16,had a number of farm table meals, will never forget them...so "The Farmer Song" hits home..always loved The Silver Tractors as well.
I just wanted to say that out of all the picture-slideshow-to-music videos on youtube, this is one of the best.
I especially like the shots of the Maple Leafs on the "don't you wanna change from losing" I am a huge leafs fan, and I found it to be a nice touch. They'll change their losing ways one of these days
@ReelsOnWheels88 - Ya when hell freezes over the Cancucks will get there first then - I'll let ya have the maple laughs have there way after I get good and drunk......... Yak, Yak, Yak, Yakkk
Really good job on selection and sinking the photos with the lyrics. Just returned to the 'GTA' from Calgary, AB and falling in love with Toronto all over again. Came looking for this song and found your video. Thanks. Beth

A great Canadian singer and one of the best songwriters. He deserves more credit than he has gotten.
