Hey, I just wanted to let you know you've helped me so much in my guitar playing. I basically wanted to thank you for making all the videos you have made and hope you continue. You're very talented as a guitar teacher and player. I'm sure you've helped many others. Thanks again.
I started playing 12 months ago and can rattle out some cracking rock riffs but skipped out the basics therefore i dont understand what is happening when i am playing.
your little clip is great and easy to following and has gave me a good understanding of whats going on.
LOL! i need to watch your video 3x before i understand what u try to implement. but it is better than me watching the other videos not even understanding. thanks alot!! nice bed btw ~
thanks a lot for the lesson, i started playing 2 months ago and had no idea that chords wer movable, i knew that there wer notes on the guitar but didnt know you could bar chords and move them.
hey, i'm pretty new to guitar and i've been practicing barre chords but everytime i play a barre chord for a couple of minutes straight, i get hand cramps. is that common for newbies or is my positioning wrong?
hey that is common, as you keep practicing it your hand and forearm will strengthen and that will go away, but its important to keep practicing that, your positioning is fine i am sure
hey (my name is Aaron too btw) i think ipodmanischen means why there are some notes that don't have flats in between. I might be mistaken though. oh and thank you for the video i am an intermediate player (i already new barre chords) and i thought finding notes on a string was so hard, but then you said its like the alphabet and BANG i got it. I can't believe i didn't catch that! thanx!!
hey, there are 12 notes in the scale from any note to another before it repeats so you use the letters A-G, for some reason though there is only a half step between B and C and between E and F, so the twelve notes are A A# B C C# D D# E F F# G G# then you would repeat, you also could use flats instead of sharps, A# and Bb are the same note, so that way it would be A Bb B C Db D Eb E F Gb G Ab then repeat back to A
i work with pharmecuetical companies, unviversities, and conracting labs in their analytical chemistry labs, so i travel around a lot since they are spread out in big cities
thanks a lot, this is one of the best things to learn as you learn guitar because it helps with the concepts and once you understand it its easy to remember, take care and thanks for the comment
hey man, your low E string should never break if you are tuning down to dropped D, are you sure you arent trying to tune up? not trying to be a smartellic just trying to figure out whats goin on
I've been 'trying' to teach myself guitar all summer, sat at my computer, struggling on ultimate guitar!
I have come along way in a month or two without a single lesson or any help, but i'm so glad i've found your videos cause they are so helpful and make it so much easier!
Good video. I have the same guitar you play.
What strings do you like to use?

ipodmanischen 3 years ago
