  • Anyone who thinks Prager and HItchens comments here are being remotely honest, rather than misleading, should read Richard Armitage's wikipedia article. He was *IN FAVOR* of the policy of regime change in Iraq. He served under Republican administrations so..how exactly was his outing of Plame "partisan"? Libby was indicted and convicted for other related charges like obstruction of justice. The investigation certainly was obstructed, so how is this major injustice?

  • @givebirthathome Interestingly Hitchens seems to be following his talking points, because his outrage seems to be more for Bush supporters who were inconvenienced (short time jailing of Miller, etc.) than the US government's loss of an irreplaceable agent, working on the critically important issue of anti-proliferation, whose training and cover cost millions of dollars to establish.

  • @givebirthathome The invasion of Iraq in 2003, took place on March 20, 2003. Reporter Robert Novak published Plame's name in mid-July of the same year. If the Plame outing was a plot to oppose the Bush policy of regime change, why wasn't it done before the invasion of Iraq, after which "regime change" was inevitable?
