  • Brilliant ..... just Brilliant xx

  • One of the most beautiful tracks he's ever done. Still brings a tear to my eye.

  • @gazzymodo I hardly would say "A Little Touch of Smilsson in the Night" and Nilsson Smilsson" are ordinary LPs...they were Great!! It was too bad RCA put all the money into Elvis at that time period because Knnilsson was/is xlint Harry with his voice 3/4 back!!! Harry never forgave them!!

  • rip harry :(

  • Love the boy choir in the mix...

  • What a beautiful duet Harry is doing....with Harry!!!!

  • So beautiful, my breath has been taken.....xxxxx miss u much

  • Bought this album in 1977 as a LP. Happy to find it back here. Nicest album ever of Harry. Thank you MusicForYourFunk

  • In my next life I'm going to marry Harry.

  • Pefect melody.

  • I remember, last summer,a raging hangover at a friend's place. I was wise to leave a copy of Knnillsson at his apartment. We listened to this album twice that afternoon. It didn't help my pounding head but it felt like Harry had his arm around. Miss you.

  • every now and then another movie is released with a song by Harry .... Red Dog, set in the Pilbara was just brought out this year (2011) with "Jump Into The Fire" Yay. He was brilliant..... we miss you Harry....

  • am i losing my mind, or is the picture changing colors?

  • @BabaBooey88 lmao I think maybe both ha ha !!

  • What a fantastic artist, even John Lennon loved him. Sad loss R.I.P, Harry, thanks for the music XXXX

  • outstanding album...thanks for sharing...Nilsson was a unique genius

  • Deep sadness is always the back up singer(s) to a satisfied life. In that, there is nothing to lose or gain other than no credit for being there...

  • Miss you Harry. Note. Harry is his back up singers.

  • @bdicat That's true, what a genius

  • Miss you Harry

  • Thank you for posting these songs. When I was a little girl my parents had these albums and I used to play them over and over while singing along to the lyric pages. I still remember all the words!

  • This was the Perfect ending to a Perfectly Beautiful album. After making several ordinary albums since "Nilsson Scmilsson", "Son of....", & "A touch of Schm in the night", 'H' returned in '77 with an lp of Brilliant Songs. In my opinion his finest work. Check it out !

  • One of the greatest songs ever written and Mr Nilsson delivers it perfectly...RIP

  • sounds like k.d.lang backup

  • Nice little jab of a note for' the song starts too, nice!

  • Glad to hear this separately from All That Jazz. It is indeed lovely and masterful. Man, why isn't he still with us beyond such music?? Missed!

  • Lovely....

  • I only heard this song on "All That Jazz".

  • He stays in a comfortable zone during this song, relying on a guest vocal to hit the high notes in the background (she nicely mimics his former high range). It's a beautiful song, and very moving.

  • boy the cigarettes and booze wreaked a really great voice

  • I listened to this for only the first time a few days ago.

'tis a really nice song. Lovely backings.

  • Great song, but why four eyes??

  • Lovely use of backing vox in various forms. Can't understand why this doesn't make it onto all of Harry's Best Of's and Collections.

  • A bit of trivia: This song was featured during a scene of the Bob Fosse movie, Jazz.

  • It's a perfect song.

  • debonbon, this is his best song!

  • This could well be his best song.
