I am in 2025 and I have an iPhone X. It has a virtual keyboard. It has a 100 MP camera and 1080p and beyond video recording. Can't say more or Apple will start hunting me down. Oh and the iMacs are now thin as a paper. And no more CD or whatever you called them in 2012.

@gangsta10able It's safe to assume it will coincide with the availability of the next-gen 22nm Ivy Bridge Intel processors, which appear to have been delayed until June.

@joey5731 The MacBook Air for 2011 picked up the Sandybridge Core i5 processor, which doubles performance over the 2010 Core 2 Duo. It also picked up Thunderbolt connectivity and a lighted keyboard. The baseline MacBook Pro had more powerful hardware, but a slower HDD.

@JoausKA Tough debate, depends on your needs. To me the 15" MBP is not very portable, too big and heavy. So I would prefer a large desktop instead and a much lighter portable like an iPad or MacBook Air.

@iDreZakhari I would say the general rule is to go with the MacBook Pro if it's your primary machine, and the MBA if you have a desktop or don't mind using attached storage.
