if i'm not mistaken, isn't the Greddy TT kit limited in it's potential? I've heard about the Extreme APS TT kit, and the Powerlab single (GT35R) being used to make huge numbers, but why did he go with the Greddy?
Car would be much better looking without that fiberglass crap they call a body kit and those stupid looking lambo doors. If I saw this car on the street I would laugh at whomever was driving it for ruining such a nice looking car. It doesn't matter how fast it is or if it's for a show or not. Adding garbage to anything makes it stink.
eeen321 ... how old are you ?? this set up is not for drag racing , but time attack and top speed pull , full weight Z + rear gearing is 3.3 , did you ever seen a 3.3 in a drag car ?? put some drag gearing and you'll see and shut your mouth
ITS A SHOW CAR. Theyy are supposed to be somewhat overdone it is meant to draw attention why don't people get that. Look at drift cars and NASCAR they have more stickers and crap on them than every honda civic with an oversized spoiler on them in the country. But you dont look at nascar and think rice do you know its ADVERTISEMENT omg
true...but if you read the dyno graph he only put down 569whp so low to mid 11's is about right...now if he gets tuned with race gas, drag radials, higher boost on the built motor he can see well over 700whp and get really close to breaking the 10 second mark
you're correct but you need to take in the factor that the Zed is not cheap to mod...especially for the gains you get.
i agree that if you're at 600whp you SHOULD hit the 10's but that not only comes down to the car's weight, suspension, etc... it also comes down to the most important mod of all...the driver
there is just too many factors to take in to know why he ran in the 11's:
i'm curious to know the trap speed as well...i understand that if the car is fully built with a TT setup it SHOULD have all other, smaller parts covered as well
the three that i listed does in fact have to be taken into effect...will it make a 10 second car run 11's...no...but it could add a tenth or two to the time depending if the car was tuned for that specific weather
by the looks of the video, the wheels are 9.5-10.5 at most in the rear..and aren't drag radials...probably street slicks
Thats a sexy ass car

Why trash on people that can afford things for their car. Are you jealous you can't afford accessories for your car?

its a fully built twin-turbo, 4.2Lstroker VQ with cams, tuned standalone and a ton of supporting mods....
not to mention, is this build financially supported by FP and a shop?!?
its a cool car besides the doors, paintjob and body kit...... but 600rwhp on slicks seems like it should able to achieve 10's.
ive seen many cars with less power and a ton less $ invested that prove that 600whp doesnt equate to mid 11's.
i have a buddy that ran 10.6@140mph with just over 490fwhp on 10.5" slicks.

you get the idea

600whp AND slicks.... it is not a stock 350z with a twin turbo kit making 600rwhp.......
...... it has many many supporting mods to not just the engine.
.... i would bet that the suspension and clutch have been upgraded.
those 3 you listed off have much less to do than the slicks... but the driver skill is huge as well, you are right on that one thing.
what was the mph on the 1/4m?
