  • thanks susubokan ko yan.

  • Can't believe the lyrics have grammatical errors. I thought Grace Nono hails from Mindanao and does she speak Bisaya? There's a line in the song that sounds like a pidgin Bisaya. In a phrase "Wala kukalooy", it should have been "Wala'y kukalooy". Also the phrase, "Patay na ang kanhi puno sa hudyaka" does not make sense to me. The original lyrics was "Patay na ang gugma nga kanhi puno sa hudyaka". I like Grace Nono and her songs but whoever provided her the lyrics was not doing enough research

  • unsa mani oy .............putal man.

Plaka man pud gud ang source.

  • fuck!!!!!!!!your purpose is simple to promote this song!sharing this here is a kind of promotion already!!!!!but omitting some of its lyrics to force somebody to buy NONO`s cd`s is a sign of greediness!!!!all people who upload video here has their simple purpose to give its viewers full satisfaction!!!!unlike yours,,,so pls. delete this before NONO`s soul condemn your greediness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MultiCharlie79 You're an idiot. You do realize that you're not making any sense. How am I greedy? I'm not making any money from this. Did you know that many Filipino singers, when their time in the limelight is finished, end up living poor lives again. The composer of "Kasadya Ning Takna-a/Ang Pasko Ay Sumapit" died in poverty, even though he composed the most famous Filipino carol. Didth Reyes lived a poor life even though she was famous.

  • @MultiCharlie79 Do you think they produce this stuff for free? You don't think it takes work and money to produce music? I still don't understand how this is MY greediness when I have nothing to gain from doing this. Putting a video like this on youtube is not going to "force" anyone to buy anything. "Full satisfaction" is for people who suppourt theartist by buying their music. They have the choice to buy it or not. You're extremely stupid. If you respond, make sure that you make sense.

  • @MultiCharlie79 Not that I care too much about copyright infringement of artists like Madonna and other millionaires. But this is a newly produced album of Visayan folksongs. Visayan folksongs are dead. No one cares about them anymore. If you say you like old Visayan songs, Filipinos will laugh at you. For someone like Nono to do produce an album like this, that goes against popular music consciousness, is commendable and should be suppourted with money, so she can make more music and live.

  • @MultiCharlie79 I mean they don't make copyright laws for no reason. They don't make it an INTERNATIONAL CRIME to distribute copies of an artist's music without compensation to the artist for no reason.

  • It's a promotion already? If I posted the song in at a reasonable quality and at full length, people would have no reason to download the song from iTunes and pay 99 cents for it. They could just use a youtube-to-mp3 downloader and get the song for free. Again, make sure that if you respond to any of this, you

    1. Make sense.

    2. Make sure that what you're saying is actually true, and not just random lashing out at me because you can't get a free illegal copy of the song.

  • @MultiCharlie79

buhay pa si grace nono pinapatay mo na!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I been searching this song at Youtube for 8 years. It always plays in my mind recollecting my childhood. This is my mother's favorite song. I remember this is the themesong of a radio drama at DYRB Cebu way back in 1982-1984 if could still remember it right. Now that there are several people who posted their homemade seranade makes me excited. I was able to get the entire lyrics from link. Thank you. If I am right, the version that I was looking is that of Rosalie Robles.

  • @masdaras: I was searching for this song too for so many years. I used to sing this when I was a child back in the 80s and I didn't know that this was actually used as a theme song in a radio drama. I just found out though recently that the original singer of this song is Susan Fuentes. You can listen to her song by searching the same song title with her name on it. Talking about Rosalie Robles, did you happen to search for Balik Na Intawon Pinangga? The song had just been posted recently

  • wow nahanap ko rin sya atlast!!! this song is what my yaya sang me a lullabye everytime im going to sleep, miss them so much!!!

  • @jaiz81 : The original artist of this song is Susan Fuentes. You can hear her song by searching the same title. I used to sing this song when I was a child back in the 80s and swear didn't hear the song ever after that.

  • I was going to say you have a very interesting channel, but to omit parts of a song so that people MIGHT purchase a CD does not seem to be what YouTube is all about. I would like to know more about Filipino music and I enjoy making playlists that include certain types of music. I certainly can't include this song because it is incomplete.

  • @MrDPetersen What you can't pay 99 cents for this song on itunes? Do you think these people work to produce this music for free? It youtube "about" violating copyright laws?

  • @MrDPetersen Correction: IS youtube...

  • ano b yannn... negosyooo

  • @leevanredz No. I want people to suppout Grace Nono by buying her music. The of the other classic Visayan songs I post are out of print. Grace Nono works to promote and suppourt Philippine music and culture. She should be compensated for her work.

  • This song is actually a remake. I had been missing this song for so many years already. I used to sing this song when I was a kid back on the 80's. I'm glad though that finally I heard back this song. I'm still wishing to hear the original song. I love this song so much.

  • It's more of a cover than a remake. Songs like this are covered to death. Matud Nila is often refered to as a Pilita Corrales song, as though Pilita was the fist to record it. It was originally recorded in the 1940s by the song's composer Ben Zubiri and I'm sure it was recorded by other singers between Ben Zubiri's recording and Pilita's 1974 recording.
