  • Was not aware of the Phil Spector connection here but you have to admit these two guys were fantastic together. I remember their music from dances at junior high....great memories...great music.

  • The F word is not an adjective and I remove posts from my channel that contain it - or other profanity.

  • Good for you John. Swearing is totally unecessary. Shows bad manners.

  • Gracias

  • We need to promote a positive atmosphere for our self presevation. The use of profanity demonstrates oure ignorance. Foul language should be removed instantly be YouTube.

  • Top Gun!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • my FAVORITE SONG of all time

  • The Righteous Bros did NOT want to do this song. Nor did they want to do Unchained Melody. It was Phil Spector who wrote these songs and pushed these guys to sign them which became the most played pop songs in HISTORY.

What did they do to repay Mr Spector? They left him and went to MGM. They NEVER had another hit.

Their success was due to Phil Spector.

  • I agree entirely - the magnificent sounds of the 60's were mainly due to Phil Spector and Burt Bacharach.

  • Well, they certainly contributed but you really can't leave out Barry Gordy.

  • Maybe so, but Phil was quite the crazyman as we all now know. Also, from what I heard alot of his acts never reaped what they sowed which is kind of sad. By the way are they in The Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame.

  • They didn't "leave" Spector, it was a mutual parting. Plus, they had "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration" after Spector. I believe it was a #1.

  • really awsome video! to bad the sound is horrible....
