hold the shot stick, move it in a different direction, make sure your player controlled has a decent to amazing clutch, release when under. I do that with Vince Carter on a daily basis on 2K9.

Lebron is sick in this game, but i hate the fact that when someone chooses the Cavs in this game, all they do is give the ball to Lebron. Get's kinda annoying.

Yea, I think 2K9 is great, still getting to know it. At first I found it like a lil' stepback in the series, comparing to 2K8, but after a couple of games I realized it was great. So many moves added, so many great new features. I still gotta work with the sliders a bit to adjust them to perfection (or I will use some of the ones from the Internet).

Live is for arcade dues, all you have to do to score is hold down turbo and just keep freestyle dribbling and eventually someone will fall then you can dunk on who ever with who ever. If you try that on 2K your ass is getting a charge called. NBA 2K=Real baskteball

Man I love 2k9 man. So many moves too many moves. I mean I've played online and 2 Seasons of Assoiciations and im still learning. Lock down Defense is way better then live I mean you can even lock down stars man on Live last years the Kobe's And Bron would kill you but atleast you can't shut em down a lil bit. 2k slaughters live and if you play live what a waste of 65 dollars.
