ok its beginning to shit me, i been listening to conga players on youtube for the last 4 or 5 hours and one thing i've noticed with nearly every drummer is one major pain in the arse thing thats irritating me.

these guys have amazing talents i'm not saying they dont so dont get on my ass. but how come they never eventuate to a covering beat and hold it there for long enough so we can dance. they seem to jump from one beat to another as if its a demonstration of skill almost.

My father worked with Hidalgo for more than 10 years. Funny actually, Hidalgo is so humble that every time my father did some little lick on the drum set, Hidalgo would look amazed, then he'd come back with a conga solo and my dad would just leave. LMFAO!!!!
