Bioshock has a better story and Bioshock 2 has a better gameplay that's why I love both games in different ways. Sander Cohen will remain my favorite character but there's nothing like having a powerdrill and making your little sister harvest Adam for you.

I love the atmosphere, lunacy and dark setting of Bioshock 1. But do you just play as a Big Daddy in Bioshock 2? Not sure I would like that very much, as I preferred murdering the little sisters and looting the daddies.

some people say Bioshock1 is superior in every way. I disagree. Yes, Bioshock1 was creepier due to the fact that you were a lowly human in Rapture and you couldn't duel wield so combat tactics are different/more difficult as well. But it was nice feeling powerful in Bioshock2 though, going into combat like "COME AT ME BRO, I'M A BIG DADDY" Plus I think the story of 2 was stronger than 1. You have a purpose, rescue Eleanor at all costs. In 1 you're just a puppet for a good portion of the game.

@matarinakutafan it doesn't LOOK scary. When I played it, it was more creepy than scary (it's hard to explain). Every time you have to turn to see if a splicer is coming and it's really hard to see at times. Just watch some gameplay and you'll understand.

I've always liked the storyline in Bioshock 2 more than the storyline in the original. In the first Bioshock, you are told to kill someone you know nothing about, by another person you know nothing about. The whole game you are motivated by revenge, and you have no feelings for the little sisters. In Bioshock 2 the whole time you just want to get to your original little sister. Since you're a big daddy, the girls trust you and call you "daddy" making you feel a connection with them.

@THEsunnyinpa no, in the first one you are brainwashed into doing anything fontaine said when he said the words "would you kindly" you werent motivated by revenge, you were brainwashed into doing everything he said. also, atlas, aka fontaine fed stories about ryan into your head, so in a way, you did know things about the man. also the objective wasnt to kill ryan untill he killed atlases "family". and you had the option to care for the sisters by saving them and not harvesting them.

Why the hell should anyone care what a souless machine does?, let alone playing as one. The storyline is disjointed and fractured because all the levels were made in different countries by different companies, the characters are unrelatable and the plot is thin with the main reason for everything happening being Adam. Disapointing after Bioshock.

@Ormagoden I think that if Subject Delta was too powerful that the game would be too easy. Also, I never had issues getting drill fuel (Try the weapons upgrade that reduces fuel consumption). Overheat might make it a bit easy as well. The Big Sister thing may have been a good idea though.

Call of Duty is a good game. But Bioshock is my favourite of the two. The single player of Call of Duty is alright but the single player in Bioshock is more creative, engaging, and fun. Also, the Call of Duty multiplayer is better in my opinion though.

They should have done 3 things in here that probably would have made it as good, maybe a little less, than BioShock 1. (This is just a thought, please don't rage all over me if you don't like these. I'd like your opinion though.)

1.Make Subject Delta (You) stronger than he was in the game. If he was a big daddy then he was a giant wimp.

2. Keep the overheat meter for the drill. Finding fuel for it was a pain.

3. Only 1 Big Sister. Would have created a bigger, "OH SHIT!" moment.
