  • Did you mean Kia Ora e hoa or Kia Ora ehoa?

  • Hard to explain, but awhile back I began to see New Zealand through Maori eyes. And, my respect for Maoritangi has only increased with my love for it. So please keep teaching me, I'm listening with my ears and my heart.

  • @myolis2 kia ora ehoa .

  • How do you know what race this person is? I'm Maori but couldn't even say 'kia ora' once upon a time...so just because one is of Maori descent doesn't mean one can pronounce the Maori language adequately. Oh yeah, and very few English speakers actually speak and write English proficiently either....so...just be happy someone gives our language ago. Ka nui te pai.xxx

Lol, true...I'm 13 and yeah, once i didn't even know how to speak Maori until i joined the Kapahaka Group XD Lol, at least she knows how to pronounce the Maori words.. I love how other cultures sing our waiatas... Makes me feel proud to be a Maori XD Mean Maori Mean :3

  • @waiismithh410 , if you want the Maori language to become strong and never lost, then you have to give it over to the world without judgement, just like your 'lovely' rendition of my English language in your comment above. You can't selfishly hold on to it with cultural snobbery or it will never become wide spread in it's use. Or maybe you should take a leaf from your own book and learn to speak and spell English properly before you use it.

  • Lovely song, and would sound so much better being sung from a maori mouth coz the language rolls off our tongues easily, where as non maori it sounds funny just like this clip. But big ups to you for trying love XO

  • Eeep pronunciation. Not the 1.

  • Don't like this at all, no affence!

  • Do you have the translation for this song?

  • what chords did you use to play this?
