I visited that cemetery in March of this year [2011]. AMAZING cemetery!!!! If any one of you loves history you'll def need to make the trip to Savannah to visit!

I'm sorry to report that despite several pictures and a completely open mind I found NO paranormal activity or anything out of the ordinary at all.

Just a lovely cemetery with a peaceful nostalgia of the old south still lingering in the hanging moss; and old stones with dates of sadly too short lives etched upon them.

the unfortunate thing is that waaay too many tourists are pigs and leave trash wherever they want. I use to work at a resort in Custer state park and I was amazed at how often they would come from all over the world and throw their garbage on the ground rather than walk 10 feet to a grabage can. And yea it does seem as if she turns to look to her left at about 0:24

When I lived in Little Rock, my husband told me about the crazy graveyard where mental patients from the sanitarium were buried. He and his friend stold a tombstone from the crazy graveyard and put it in his parents garden. You would think that the ghost would try to take it back.

I find it odd that her head moves toward the gate. But the camera is panning to the right.Wouldn't that make her face to seem to go to the left instead? In all the other shots her face is turned a bit to the left,but at 0:26 it appears to show the entire front of the face. Weird,even if it's an illusion.

A trashcan is there because so many tourists go through that amazing graveyard! There are MANY picnics, and tour buses that go through there as well! Trash cans ENCOURAGE people to clean up after themselves! "I don't know why they put a trash can there"...DUHHHHH!!! KEEP OUR CITY CLEAN!!! It's a TOURIST ATTRACTION!!!

OMG i just realized we were right there at her grave.... I took 2 pics of that angel to her left... That was an Eerie angel. in one pic it seemed her eyes were closed and then in the other they were open and that was FREAKY!!! lol....

We had a really good time (Partly b/c I love cemeteyrys) i live in flo SC and we go a lot at night time to graveyards around here to see if there is anything going on

The Bird Girl is in the Telfiar Museum downtown. It was removed after the making of "Midnight in the Garden" because the family was afraid people would desecrate and vandalize the statue. Shame, isn't it? (and the individual who posted the video here say's he doesn't understand why a trash can was put up at Gracy's monument..)

Hmm? I'm a skeptic or video specialist, but I think that the head movement at :26 is a optical illusion between the iron rod on the fence and the yaw movement in his arm. It's kinda the same effect you get by looking at something hanging on the wall from the horizon of you forearm, you get a distorted view which appears like a heat type effect. The object flexes. As for the hue from a warm color to a cool color between :40-:50. Could be from a shift in thickness of the clouds, it is raining.

The bar in the gate, and the movement of the camera gives the illusion that the head of the statue turns. Believe me...the gates weren't there until a couple of years ago, and I have never heard that story about the quarters. I hears she was a child of a hotelier who died of yellow fever. People fell in love with the young child, and when she died, the hotel clientele went into mourning.
