  • spray wd - 40 on the lent and see how much better it is

  • Argh... using the blade edge? Dont do that.... the back fo the knife is a far more practical and effective method... and you dont risk destroying your blade profile.

  • cheesies burn like gasoline too.

  • love how he puts green leaves on it xD

  • That's what i use for tinder it works great.

  • finnaly a use for lint :)

  • Who sings that? Great vid.

  • This is a great tip I've never thought of.

Corn chips like Fritos, Doritos, nacho chips etc all burn furiously too & are great for starting fires.

I keep a bag of Frito's in my car during the winter.

  • thanks,i like to use what i find around the house as much as possible.

  • Great tip to use drier lint. Suggestion: use the back edge of your knife not the blade. It will strike the flint easier creating a larger spark and won't dull your blade.

  • true,it does work better thanks for the tip.

  • @ewokarmyof1 that was a mag starter but i didnt see you use any of the magnisium? does it catch with just the spark?

  • start it with lint keep it going with duck tape. burns wet burns forever.

  • awesome!
