and redstone engines won´t work for the quarry... i´ve tried :/

insulated cables ARE good they lose less power over distances

solar panels are not that good unless you have LOADS of them and know how to do wiring well. I do not know if wiring for IC2 got updated algorythms, but in IC1 power splits in half every time there is a cable split, so having machines in line is not the best way to go - first machine will get half of all current, while last ones barely gets anything.

if copper cable is insulated, it has less energy loss. In fact only tin cable is better, but it can carry only 2 EU.

You might wanna try using CraftGuide as an alternative to recipebook, you can filter recipes to only show if they use items, so you can track things down quicker. :)

Liked and favorited also u don't has 2 destroy the wire I think u can just use redstone and power the boxes and they will stop producing energy! Also there are coal burning engines! They can power the quarry! Ps u should say in it vids 2 write tips with the word tip in them so u can search the comments for comments that are tips easier plz pps make longer vids cause u make 1 every 2-3 days we need content!!

For the quarry you can use a engine that uses coal, i don't know the name

Jessasin , 1) redstone engines realy dont explode , i used them for 2 continues weeks on a server and no boom, 2) u cant use redstone engines on a quarry, only if you take the power with conductive pipes and uses 18 redsrone engines

@corjaantje Thanks for the tips on the quarry, but as far as the redstone engines, according to the buildcraft wiki, redstone engines do explode after 20-30 minutes of continued use.

@TheJessassin They are not. I use about 40 right now, and they have already 30 hours runned nonstop! they get to a orange-red stage but DO NOT explode. The wiki is wrong.

industrialcraft 2 has some processes that only work on coal and not charcoal so you should save it and use charcoal instead
