PS: I want to add that what makes this performance so incredible is that Glen absolutely owns this song from start to finish. Just simply owns it. We will never see his like again. Like a fine wine, he only gets better with time. He's the best singer and guitarist of the past 75 years. He & Jimmy Webb seem to have been born to collaborate. Sublime! Just the best performance ever by Glen Campbell. We are all so blessed to hear his musical gifts. I was lucky enough to get to see & hear him in Biloxi, MS this past July 2011. Flew cross-country for that show when I heard it was his Goodbye Tour. He was fabulous onstage, & I was lucky enough to meet him afterward. What a kind, down-to-earth man. I've been a huge fan of his singing & guitar-playing since age 10 when Glen was in his early 30's and hitting his stride. God Bless You Glen!!

It's too bad this song was released in the mid-late 80's. If this released with his earlier music or possibly even today this would be a #1 hit. A lot of people like Glen & Cash got a bit lost in the days of synthesizers and meaningless songs.
