  • I LOVED this game. Wish they had an app for that!

  • Sacry game man

  • this game brings back so many memories especially the intro. havent plaid it since i was like 5 or 6 , the artwork warped my mind was so trippy

  • The black kid... what is he pointing at :54 ? It's not the screen... or the keyboard...

  • my mother and father got me this game when I was a kid. now I am in collage and I still play it.

  • Haha :P

I still have the original Russian edition!

and I know... all the comments here are like at least 2 month old

  • You notice how they didn't show the really gory stuff in the ad? Like when Ned's head gets cut off? I still don't know how this got in the shelves as a children's game.

  • Oh God I REMEMBER THIS. I was always too scared to play it though. Now I want to play it but it apparently doesn't run on Windows 7 D:

  • u all say this game was that scary, but i played it when i was like 4, and it was quite fun to me, but i've always been a crazy disturbed little child, i mean, when i played alien vs predator 2, i was amused because of the decapitations and the blood, i just loved being a predator

  • Believe it or not, I thought the commercial was cool and creepy at the same time.

    O_o

  • Looks like everyone saw this on the junglebook VHS too huh?

I was watching it over and over, and finally,my dad bought the game :D

  • Too bad it doesn't run on vista.

I still have it,and I know where it is :)

  • "creeping your way for windows 95 on cd-rom" lol such a old game. wish I still had it1. It wont work on vista or higher. sorry folks.

  • Still have the disc, should check to see if it'll run on xp

  • @RedSHARK6 it does :)

  • They weren't kidding when they said "are you brave enough to survive"...

  • scary when high

  • i bought this shit at ross when i was like 8 i loved this shit so much ahahahahaha

  • My dad bought this game for himself at 38 years old.....o.O

  • @melissaaalynnn your dad is awesome

  • Ah, I like how this ad makes it out to be just a regular kid's game that's just simple, mindless fun. Little did they know over ten years later people - including me - would still remember how scary they found it.

    Thanks Disney Interactive. Thanks alot.

  • man cd-rom? thats fuckin old i remember playing some sesame street game from cd-rom

  • this game got a kid to adult raitng.. how the hell do you give this game an ka rating? when i was little, this game completele scare the shit out of me. SOME FUCKING WAY TO SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF LITTLE KIDS DISNEY.

  • @boondockschop30 Seriously! I remember this ad use to show on the Jungle Book VHS and I always begged my bro to skip this ad >.<

  • this commercial was on my 'jungle book' video, and i refused to watch it becouse this scared the hell out of me, now i wish i could play the game it looks fun LOL

  • I remember this!!!

  • I was scared shitless of this show as a kid, horrified!!!! I remember this commercial from some VHS I used to have and even this commercial scared me

  • @UnseenAGT I'm glad you remember the cartoon!! I've uploaded the episodes on my other account. = P

  • Im playing it right now on XP, I'm searching for the rat song :P

    soo awsome

I remeber it freaked me out wheni was a kid

  • wow i remember this game!

  • The way I can identify this I do have The Jungle Book (1997 release) but I think it also came out on the Alice In Wonderland

    VHS (1997 release)

Despite this Ad being different I'm gonig to barrow and disclaim it for my music video

  • Great game, great show too, it really was ahead of it's time

  • Wow...so many memories. I loved this game so much! Althought even still it scares the crap out of me. D: I haven't played it since I was six. Just recently I had gotten sick with swine flu and heck, I had this bad tonsil thing going on and I thought of singing uvulas for some reason. Then I started having flashbacks from a computer game that I couldn't quite put my finger on but I did remember playing it...

Then looking for hours.... Nightmare Ned rung a bell. xD Love the game!

  • Used to play this all the time. Now that i look back on it, it's probably one of the scariest most disturbing games i've ever played....

  • i had this game but i couldn't play it right because everytime i would use the yoyo to much the stupid sticky keys thing would show up cause i hit shift five times with out pressing anything else

  • Hm? The yoyo was the space bar on mine.

  • it was the shift key for me idk y but it fucked my comp everytime it was a really old comp tho fucken sticky keys tho

  • i first saw this in an add from dougs 1st movie. creeped me out.

  • Me too! Good times... :)

  • omg i dunno if my computer is advanced enough to play this game

  • The game is from 1997... if your computer can watch YouTube videos, it can play Nightmare Ned.

  • i has a mac

  • Not true. I couldn't get this game to run on a newer computer at all, even with compatibility stuff. I actually had to dig out the old computer in my basement to get this to work.

  • i still own this game.. the game was so mind boggling..especially the story telling dragon O.O

  • Dude! I remember! It told you creepypastas!

  • @headHunter241 creepypasta 345: el episodio perdido de nightmare end (Ned pessadila)

  • @Onepiecefan89 LOL I just played the game again. I never understood the story that the dragon told since I was so young. Now It just AMAZED me. I was like WOAH! 0.0

  • I happen to have a disney movie for VHS (The Jungle book), but the trailer for it there is a bit different. merely just modified at 0:48 and 0:54.

  • Probably because the actual scene in the game (Ned is being chased by a snake with four mouths) is freaking traumatizing!

  • OMG, I still have this game!

All I wanna know is... what the heck happened to this show anyway?!

  • so do i!

It was banned from ABC for Horror. I find this funny because Disney made it. O.o

  • LOL windows 95. do they have like newer versions of this game? all i have at home is vista and xp.

  • Where did you find this advertisement?

  • i also found it very disturbing when I was a kid but does anyone know where i can download this i kind of miss it get back to me plz

  • I remember this game being very disturbing when I was a kid.

  • Hell, it's still disturbing.

  • Can someone upload gameplay of this game?

  • I wish I could! I lost the game eons ago :P

  • See I told you guys their was a giant chicken in this game.(if you don't know what I'm talking about, read my comments for the locker song video.)

  • I remember playing this when i was about 4, it was the best.

  • Its on a Jungle Book VHS, I have it.(jungle book and nightmare ned) However I lost the jungle book and have no idea where it is, plus my mom got rid of my nightmare ned game because it was too scary, fortunatly, she ordered that game of the internet as we speak(I think).

  • No joke guys, this is literally one of the best games ever. I have it and if any of you see it (which is unlikely) definitely buy it

  • hahaha i still have this game, to bad i can't play it! XD i loved it so much

  • I have played this game. It is awesome.

  • What a cheesy ad for such an awesome game lol

  • i have this game but it wont work with vista :(

  • Kinda funny, I have this (it came free with another Disney Interactive game (my dad bought me Atlantis: The Lost Empire - Trial by Fire, the only Disney FPS :P and this came free with it, I had for several months at the time and finally installed it, wow....probably one of the darkest games I've played (for kids that is), its very Tim Burton-esque, then I found out there was a cartoon based on the game, or the other way around idk lol

  • I remember this ad on one of my old disney videos! It always scared the heck out of me when I was little!

  • My Cousin had this game...he hated it.

  • Why?

  • I guess he couldn't handle the AWESOMENESS.

  • a little different, but yes, I saw this one a Disney movie. Come to think of it, I have the ENTIRE collection of Walt's movies, and yet this trailer appears on only ONE of them. I think it's the "Jungle Book", the tape of which I lost. By the way, a bunch of others disappeared after someone broke into our first house, when I was VERY young, and I remember it!

  • ha this was on my VHS video od Bone Chillers!

  • That's were I got this off of!

  • haha,sweet!

  • I Have The 1996 Video Tape of Travel Time.

  • god i could never play this game alone....scary!

  • I had this game as a kid, and it freaked me out of my mind.

  • I like how the framerate on the cutscenes in this ad is actually significantly better than what's in the final game.

  • I always used to get stuck on this game when your riding through the hospital on a bed, never could get past it.

  • It Was on CD Rom From Copy of Travel Time

    1996 VHS

  • The two kids remind me of Malcolm and Stevie from Malcolm in the Middle. :D

  • in fact where can you download it from?, the music that is...

  • the music on this game was epic

  • That Toilet Part Scared Me :'(

  • Where is this from?

  • Where is this from?

  • Hey, quite copying me.

  • I just want to know if you found out yet. Don't be mean.

  • I wasn't trying to be mean. Anyway, I don't know where this is from, but I do know that this promo is on the 1997 30th anniversary edition VHS release of "The Jungle Book", except it has the "Always From DI" bumper at the beginning, instead of the flashbang "Now Available From Disney Interactive" logo.

  • Where could this be from?

  • I don't know.

  • Well it could be from the 1997 print of "D3: The Mighty Ducks".

  • I don't know, I never seen it before.

  • Well do you know any other VHS that you haven't seen before?

  • I've never seen the 1980 VHS of "Pete's Dragon" before.

  • Well do you know any other VHS that you haven't seen before that could have this preview on it?

  • No, I don't.

  • Can ya think?

  • Possibly on some late 1996, early 1997, mid 1997, late 1997, or late 1998 VHS tapes.

  • I just got D2 The Mighty Ducks today and it does not have it.

  • You mean "D3: The Mighty Ducks"?

  • Right.

  • So, if this isn't on there? What is?

  • Kinda late to reply, but I got this off of a bonechillers VHS

  • What's that?

  • A straight to VHS series made by disney. trying to gain off of goosebump's fame.

  • So, it's a "Goosebump's" tape?

  • No, it's a series called bonechillers. it's exactly like goosebumps, but made by disney. check it out on wikipedia.

  • Sure.

  • What trailers were on that VHS?

  • I don't quite remember, I think this was the only one.

  • Sure, If I can Find it.

  • I still have this game and the best song was the math teacher song XD and my faverate shost was the one first ghost at graveyard.

  • Which VHS Tape did you get this Promo from?

  • Asking because the "NOW AVAILABLE FROM DISNEY INTERACTIVE" logo.

  • where can i download this?

  • i still have this game and i love it so much it reminds me of my younger childhood

  • hehe omg nightmare ned :D

i remember getting the game when i was about

7 years old... good memories :)

  • WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THIS GAME THANKS?

  • Perhaps Ned could've had two other weapons, like a metal baseball bat and a Nerf launcher.

  • That would be awesome

  • damn, i played this game 7 years ago

i couldn't remember exactly every level

But i still could remember those freakishly weird creatures i had to beat and the eerie music i had to listen to

    Gave me nightmares!

  • i kno i did too i wish i still had it, it always gave me the willies 0.o

  • yeah the things on the trees that cover their hearts when u try to yoyo them (at 48 sec).... those things are freaky >_>

  • one more thing, this commercial features some o0f its great music, perfectly creepy

  • You know, that game, even though I am an 17 yr old girl, I still love it.When I was a little younger, I used to imagine myself in that adventure and beat the game with ned.Especially in the school. You know, adventures, creepy like them are great.

  • That game was great, i loved the Mortal Kombat battles with the Vampire/milk carton and the skeleton/paper plates.

  • "FLY MY PRETTIES FLY!" the vampire used to freak me out.

  • Was this commercial on the 1997 VHS of The Jungle Book?

  • N, from a TV series called "Bone chillers"

  • whoa

  • i know rite? this game was sooo fucking awesome......i wish i still had it. disturbing as hell. i'd play it alone at night in my father's study/computer room.

  • what happen to it? i still have mine but i just don't have the computer for it

  • lost it at my old house (we have a new one now)

  • but why not buy a new one on amazon

  • I can't find it, this game is worth its weight in gold

  • but its cheaper to buy it on amazon

  • Excellent game. So twisted and abstract.
