  • Thanks.Congratulation for your taste to the good sound.Your clips are great and you are always very nice.

  • @SEBANO1974 Thanks man!

  • Hi.As you are with the WGS speaker.Do you recommend it to play heavy stuff or the big are always Celestion?

  • @SEBANO1974 Warehouse Guitar Speakers makes tons of different speakers and I'm sure alot of them would work great with heavy stuff. Not sure I'd recommend the ET65 for that, but definitely the Veteran 30 and maybe their G12T75 copy.

  • Great preview of what the amp has to offer!!!

nice to see somone knows how to play somthing besides dropt uned one chord regurgitated(sp?) riff's. u kinda remind me of Leo Kottke humor wise.. i seen a video of him once where he was sitting in a boat in between clips of him playing.

  • @TheHoodedRonin7 Thanks man! I loved the Ultra Lead!

  • vorrei avere i vostri euro per comprare tutto questo vostro arsenale..ma non buono voi chitarrista....

  • this and the diezel vh-4 are hands down the best amplifiers i've ever heard.

  • hey man how did you learn to play guitar?

  • @Xxslayer410xX I took lessons for a few months in 1986 or so and the dude would pretty much just show me popular rock riffs (Smoke on the Water, Lay It Down, Big City Nights, etc...) Then I stopped with the lessons and just started learning from friends and on my own. I find it very relaxing to sit around and play guitar and have always done it alot.

Never could perfect playing real fast, though!

  • Hey It's a Bill Landry Amp. You didn't happen to pick that up in STL did you?

  • @syn5643 Yeah, I live in St. Louis and know Bill Landry fairly well. Great guy and great amps!

  • @SgtThump Thats awesome brother, we should jam sometime, I'm here in stl too!

  • @syn5643 Very cool! Are you in a band around town? I'm in a band named "Broken English" that does covers.

  • @SgtThump Nice, that's a sick name man! I had a couple bands, looking for a Prog rock Drummer and Bassist to get back on the scene, with the singer and I. We play music similar to Tool

  • Looking at a Valvulator GP3, someone said it is the same as this. Thanks for any info...sounds great. One I'm looking at is gain modded.

  • hey SgtThump

I see you have what looks like a 1958 Les Paul plain top and a PRS. I too have a 1958 and am looking for another guitar. I love humbucking tone so I thought the next best thing for me would be to look for a PRS of sorts (one without coil tapping which I probably wouldn't use). What are your opinions on a good old Les Paul vs say a Modern Eagle PRS? Do you prefer one of the brands if so why? Thanks for your help. AMAZING Channel

  • @10Bobgreen Hey! Yeah, it's a '58 Reissue Les Paul. In my personal opinion, nothing can touch this guitar. Not even close! The only PRS guitars I've ever owned were two McCarty's. They are great guitars, but just don't have the killer tone you get from Gibsons (IMO). My favorite brand is Gibson!

  • Great technique man. It's good to see a classic rock guitarist that can actually play ha ha

  • is the vht ultra lead very similar to the vht lead?

  • I've never heard of the VHT "Lead." Are you sure that's an actual model?

  • @SgtThump: yea it was presented at the

NAMM 09 on a video on youtube.

    it comes in a 20w and a 40w

    combo version.

  • Was it under the brand name "VHT" or "Fryette?" If it said VHT, it's the new company and they don't make amps like the old VHT. It's very confusing. Not sure if you know the story, but in a nutshell, another company named AXL ended up with the VHT name recently. Maybe 1-2 years ago. Any new amps being made and sold as VHT with the same logo and everything aren't the same as the previous VHTs.

If you want something made by the founder of VHT, go for the brand Fryette.

  • Sounds awesome! Your gear is really nice!

  • Hey man, have you ever tried your Ultra Lead with some P50's?

  • Yeah, I used to use it with a VHT Deliverance 4x12" cab. Great sounding cab! It worked very well with this amp.

  • Your lead sound is very similar to Sambora's in the second solo of Dry County.

  • How long have you been playing?

  • Since around 1985/86 or so when I was 13. I guess it's been around 23 years.

  • well done

and do u have your own band now?

  • Thanks! Yes, I'm in a band. I've been in several bands over the years, with pretty short breaks between them.

I've recently posted some vids of me playing live. Check them out if you get the chance.

  • how the ****** have you got those awsome amps¿¿¿¿ you should have +10.000 usd in that room man... awsome playing too

  • I work for a living! :)

  • you have a really kick ass gear, man congrats, really:)

  • Thanks!

  • i remember i was at gc trying to buy a new guitar and my mom was with me and just liked how nice the prs mccarthy looked so she gave it to me to play and then we looked at the price tag and put it back. hell of a guitar

  • sounds really good! Tasty playing, too! Its cool to see another VHT out there like this :) I have a singlecut and the CLX/Hundred and I play a lot of country and blues as well as rock stuff. I spend most time on the rhythm channel...great stuff man!

  • Hey thanks man! Yeah, these are known for being metal amps for sure, but I love them for everything. I've seen people complain about the rhythm channel before, but I don't get it? I think it sounds killer!

  • Sounds amazing!

I'm looking forward to buying one of those

  • Can you describe the difference from stock to the new pickup? I have a McCarty and its a bit dark / tight sounding for me.

  • Oh man, they're not even similar really. The BBQ has ten times the output and power of the stock McCarty bridge pickup. It's also darker, so I don't think you'd like it much.

  • 1:30 is that part of born to be loved?

  • Kings X? HA HA HA! I didn't do that on purpose, but now that you say it, it sounds alot like it. Wow, never noticed that before.

  • wow i love those clean boosted leads their so sick sounding :) keep up the great playing man :)

  • Hey thanks!

  • yup anytime :)

  • 54 - 55 secs, ...nice tone!

  • What is it that people prefer in the Rio Grande BBQ over many other bridge position pickups? I'm replacing my guit with new pu's and am researching all diff types.

  • orgasmic!!!!

  • Very nice!

  • Nice Demo. Fat Tone!!

  • Nice!

  • cool tones, i always liked the ultra lead
