  • Servo Specs: Pan axis: PRO LINE SEGELWINDE SW1200 JR Torque: 115 Ncm (6V) The sail-winch servo makes roughly 7 turns. This allows me to use a 5:1 gear reduction (LEGO gears). Tilt axis: PREMIUM HIGH TORQUE SERVO MC 5018 HB 68 Ncm at 6V Shutter release: Modelcraft ES 05 12 Ncm at 6V To prevent servo-jitter during the exposure, I am switching off the servos after turning. Thus, the torque on the tilt axis needs to be smaller than the holding torque of the tilt servo.
  • Very Nice.

I am in the process of building my own motorised Gigapan type mount. I will be using a Seeeduino to control the three servos (Pan, Tilt, Shutter release). Just wondered what servos are you using.
