naw actually white people been had dreadlocs jus as indians been had dreadlocks. u dont hav 2 backcomb to form a loc all u hav to do is wash ya hair dont brush it and continue doing that when u notice ya hair matting u jus palm roll rem which helps tha hair form mo cylinder n matt up mo. dreadlocks is tha oldest hairstyle my brotha they been hair since man was born. 2 recieve faster dreadlocks u can backcomb dem, twist em or palmroll. no matter ya race ya hair will lock up if not kept neat.

well let me just say that Dreadlocks have nothing to do with African tradition. There are countless videos on youtube showing people of ALL races going the natural route and just not combing their hair. And guess what? They all got real dreadlocks. White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, whatever. They all got dreads naturally, proving that dreadlocks aren't a black or white hairstyle. It's a human hairstyle.

yea you still wash normall you can use dr bronners bar or liquid soap just wash every 2-3 days or whenever you feel they need washing and be sure to completely rinse the soap out of your dreads
