Lovely to combine the kids, shame you don't have a camera person though as you don't always get "the shot". I'd come & help, but your a bit of a treck away. Mike (UK)
@Equip2Endure I was wondering if you've heard of the Hennessy Hammocks. If you have, would you consider doing a review on it. I'm looking for a new hammock, and I can't decide between the ENO Hammock set or the Hennessey Hammock.
do you have a video, about the ENO Double Nest Hammock DELUXE, i wanna see it complete ensamble. i cant find a video about, even in eaglenest. thx man
hey adam thanks for all the video, especially knife review, i can learn about knife and outdoor stuff from home, keep it up man, and u have such a beautiful daughter anyway. regards to them.!!
@Equip2endure Why Don't You Just Sew A Patch On Both Sides Of That Hole? It Would Be Stronger Than BeFor.Just 2 Small patches Of RipStop Would Fix The problem
Adam, it looks like your video is interlaced. Interlacing is the horizontal bars that show up during quick movements. It is probably a setting in the camera or the video editing software you are using. Besides that, great video!
i have an eno hammock and love it and have been using the double nest for a few years now. a suggestion for your dog i usually take piece of egg crate foam and fold it long ways and sleep on top of that in my sleeping bag. it helps to insulate your backside better in cold weather as well as making a good place for your dog to lay and it weighs almost nothing. i have a 70 lb lab mix and he usually sleep between my legs while hammock camping and we have yet to have problems.
@StickInc1 , Yes you would, Eno also makes DryFly, but I find the tarp is an easier and cheaper way to go. Thanks for asking, it's all about learning and idea sharing. Take care,
@StickInc1 I actually cut the bottom of and old ozark trail 2 man tent and us it for my rain fly and it works great!...very light and the cost was unbeatable! lol
lol... cute vid. Love the snow!! I have the same color doublenest and love it. I also have the slap straps and they are great for quick set up. My only complaint is the nylon strapping tends to stretch as you lay in it so you have to set it up high. Other than that... no worries.
I've been looking a these. Thanks for the review. I'm going with the double. My Hennessy is a little difficult to get in and out of during colder camping because of the extra pads and sleeping bag. Thanks again.
Thanks for your vids. I've bought 2 knifes based on your recommendation and have been very happy with them. Do these hammocks come with rain fly and bug netting or is this extra. Thanks again.
@229Swede , There are some liners out there for a hammock, I use my therma-rest Z-lite ground pad. As long as you have some dead space between the bottom of the hammock and the air you could use it in the winter.
I wouldn't use 550 paracord for the hammock suspension. It is nylon based and stretches too much. A polyester/dyneema/sprectra based cord would be better as they don't stretch and some will be lighter and stronger. Using any hammock you can get a pretty flat by laying on the diagonal. This will prevent hyperextension of your knees
DoubleNest All The Way. But seriously, if you lie diagonally, you have to go double unless you're short. I've been sleeping in my double for two years now. Cheers
Shoe glue for the hole, that stuff is like welding your hammock with a plate of steel!
Question about these hammocks though, when your laying in the do they have that annoying piece running right down the middle that feels like your balancing on a piece of 550 cord....my hammock has that . Im looking for a new hammock but without being able to test them myself i need an expert opinion :D
what is the weight limit on this product? Is there a hammock you would recommend for someone 6'2 about 275 lbs? Also is there one that is better for more of a 4 season hammock? Just curious thanks!
@Fatherandsonsurvival , they (Eno) says 500 pounds! I have a friend that is like 6'8" and 280 who has one, but he need new hard wear, he got heavy gauge carabiners.
I am 240+ and have no prob using it, I think it has a 400 lbs I use my ENO with the Slap Straps and they have a Weight Limit of 200 lbs. pre strap so you shouldn't have a prob. I use the Single nest

How would you compare the Eno to a Hennesy Hammock?

this is a bit of a noob question, but would you set up a tarp over that if you were staying in it over night?

First, the kids saved it. Super cute.
- but for the second video in a row you had those silly 180 ear things on. I am dubious, to say the least.
- If possible, either review those 180 things or take them off and wear a hat. I am willing to have my mind changed, but those things are dorky.
