that p-51 backflip wasnt a "stunt"! watch the history chanel show about dogfights: the tuskegee airman where they actually interview the pilot that did the 360 spin tubernation
As a big aviation fan, I was watching this with a little apprehension. Hollywood usually mucks these things up. (See Pearl Harbor... BLECH!!!!) I starting thinking this was looking good, but then I saw the P-51 backflip stunt, which then got worse as he actually shot the other plane going by whil in mid-flip.... Thanks for f-ing up another good true story, Hollywood... :-(
@tubernation1 Come on, man! Im a big aviation fan myself: lets first watch the movie, and afterwards we can still burn it down. Backflips were actually performed, although not dramatically: tailslides are a little buit harder to show in-movie I suppose. I still give a big thumbs up for FINALLY a movie in which you can actually see Me109s and Me262s. Not the usual bollocks of overpainted mustangs/spits/P40s, or the few former Spanish Me109s with RR Merlin engines. I know Im gonna watch it!
Buy some tickets for some young people. They need to see THIS. I will...

@tubernation1 And the real story of the redtails/ Tuskegee airmen is indeed a piece of history that deserves a spectacular movie. I cannot wait!

@tubernation1 They probably got this from Richard Candalarias (i think his name is) account from the history channel.
