@narutosunny In that they're the two most realistic sounding Vocaloids in capable hands, then yes, they sound alike. :) Meiko still sounds more realistic imo. Listen to Cradle of Destiny and Change Me. Both done by Shu-t. The result of years of working with her. Give Gumi some time and I think she'll sound even better than Meiko.

I agree with iiSnowChwibi, sorta. I think all from Vocaloid and Utau have their strengths and weaknesses concerning different styles of music / singing.

Not all are suited for everything, but tend to be better than others in certain styles.

THEN comes the VOCALOID [02] Section.

CV 01 - Miku Hatsune, CV 02 - Rin and Len Kagamine, CV 03 - Luka Megurine...etc, etc.

But Megpoid (GUMI) and Gackpoid (GAKUPO) and not made by [Crypton], who made all the other VOCALOIDs mentioned just previously. The company [Internet] made them.

It's complicated to explain. There's Vocaloid 1 Vocaloid 2, and Vocaloid 3.

RIn and Len are number 02 in Vocaloid 2. Meiko and Kaito are apart of Vocaloid 1. I know this explaination is terrible but Google Vocaloid Wiki and scroll down to the bottom of the page. It should explain alot.
