As much as I love TYT, I think it's a little unfair to compare YouTube numbers to shows on TV, since they're only on at a specific time, whereas we can watch them any time thanks to the Internet.
I personally am never able to catch the live shows since, in this time zone, they finish at around 3-4am, so I tend to watch the clips on the next day.
MSNBC or another network will come calling again to you in 2010, I predict.

They had the top 13 cable news shows this past month and beat MSNBC and CNN combined in total ratings. FOX was like 3rd in overall tv ratings and MSNBC and CNN were like in the 20's. This is a center-right country, and FOX is a center-right network. MSNBC is left of center which explains its disastrous ratings.

Bwahahahahahahaha! No. Just about every show on Fox - regular news and opinion - crushes CNN and MSNBC. A lot of times the two combined don't even match some of Fox shows. People get "real news" at Fox. The few viewers that the other networks attract are watching state run media.

According to Pew's "Project for Excellence in Journalism-State of the Media" report, CNN has had a higher cumulative viewership each year vs Fox by about 20 million people since 2002. Cumulative viewership is a better indicator of actual news (i.e. current events, late breaking stories) consumption than ratings because it tells you where people are going for up-to-date info. Fox's low cumulative viewership but high ratings are more similar to a popular prime time sitcom or drama, not news.

Before the election, CNN was fair and balanced. However, they moved just a little left of center during the Bush years and since the 2008 election has moved even more to the left. FOX has moved more to the right during that time but is still fair and balanced with shows like special report, fox report, on the record, studio b, live desk, happening now, america's newsroom. Its just adding Glenn Beck and Hannity having his own show has moved them more to the right. But those r opinionated shows.

Lou dobbs..... On the record is an opion show as well. fox has only like 5 hours of real news programing. To bad 90% of the storys they cover come from it opion hours. Like the kids singing a song from 8 months ago that had them sing about obama. It wasnt a story untill beck and orilley called it communist indoctrnation. Next day the 'news' hour coverd it quoteing beck and Orilley as if it where a real story. Not once did they look for kids singing about bush or clinton.

If he is talking about internet viewers vs TV viewers then I think he is wrong with his data. If I watch these videos it can be at any time during the day and anywhere from around the world. That adds up against a small time slot on a network. Plus these are just short clips.

As much as I love TYT, I think it's a little unfair to compare YouTube numbers to shows on TV, since they're only on at a specific time, whereas we can watch them any time thanks to the Internet.
I personally am never able to catch the live shows since, in this time zone, they finish at around 3-4am, so I tend to watch the clips on the next day.
