im testing midterming today and im going to do songham 1, 2, and choong jung 2 so that for bbelt testing i only have choong jung1 and songham 5 to do wish me luck :D
I'm a blue belt and I honestly think that your position could be a lot better! O.O
1- remember to keep your arms up when performing a kick;
2- Don't kick like you wanna throw down a wall, just focus and aim that foot right!
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but this is just my opinion! nontheless, I think posting the pumses on youtube is GREAT!!! I really needed to see this! So thanks to everyone that made this possible =)
alxh89. you've obviously haven't learned anything from tae kwon do. first thing taught in any style of tae kwon do is RESPECT. and for your information, there are hundreds of different styles of tae kwon do. i come from a group of korean grandmasters that created their own style at the same time the wtf was created. they also wanted the forms to reflect more kicking like tae kwon do sparring. I have been studying for 23years. each style has something unique to offer and learn from.
ATA is garbage. it only exists because that faggot HU lee didn't want to conform to the conventions of REAL tkd and wanted to be some kind of founder. what kind of TKD organization doesn't even exist in korea? a fake one. this style is bullshit. i train wtf and have been to ATA schools. save your money and time. ATA won't teach you shit.
@alxh89 You, sir, are a bitch. A true one. I cannot tell how beautiful it is to have learned taekwondo under ATA and under true masters of the martial art. If you didn't learn from the organization, you simply have something blocking you from learning- such as a judgement or prejudice. By the way, it does exist in South Korea and I am learning from a man who derives straight from the country and is a 7th degree black belt.
@alxh89 For one, I'm a woman. Two, the association does have schools in South Korea. Three- bitch, please, if you're going to discredit something, find the facts first.
@Tyrulaan the main difference is the mind behind the art. WTF is an olympic discipline, you train to be better and beat others, no matter if that implies injuring someone, or even yourself, probably aiming for a gold medal. In ATA you train for yourself, to improve your everyday (mental and physical) skills and to learn and practice whatever you feel you are getting from taekwondo. It's all in your personality what will style fit you.
@eavaria I've been in both WTF and ATA. Both teach courtesy and respect, not hurting others or yourself. The main difference I noticed is WTF has less emphasis on hand techniques, as does the olympic sport. I noticed a greater push to compete in ATA, however.
Thanks for posting this, it gives me a chance to practice my forms while traveling with business. BTW, please remember this is an art not a school, we must practice respect at all times Kitty Kat.

What is STF? only knew that there was more ITF and WTF STF never heard of, frankly, ATA or STF has a very low level. when I spoke of my master leg STF Sabunnim Edimir Kawakubo 5th dan qu he told me that style of taekwon-do has a very low level
I can never get these steps right, I keep practicing and practicing but they never come out like they're supposed to. If this keeps up, I'll flunk my belt exam.
