What happens if i dont miss a period persay and they are shorter and lighter than normal,my nipples feel as though someone is pinching and holding them, i wake up nauseous, im constipated, random outbursts of headaches,i constantly feel bloated ,i basically feel like my cycle is about to start everyday, we had unprotected sex and i think i may have gotten prego by the pre cum.what should I do?? this happened back in the last week of april, and hpts around beginning of may were negative

thats because the soonest you can find out is 6 to 8 days. but the hcg could still be fairly low, so for a more accurate result you should wait until your period is past due. that way you do not get a false negative.

I am finding this confusing... she says hcg shows up at around 6 to 8 days after conception, but at the end she says wait until a week after missed period?? That's up to 3 weeks for some women!!

It's got to be either one or the other.
