This must be one of my favourite scenes from the series, but why cut the part where Roe was almost going to put Renee's scarf back in his pocket? I mean, that is such an emotional point in this scene.
I especially admire this scene among all of the great scenes in this episode. The acting is superb. It brilliantly conveys the two men coming back out of their shells in the face of being severely strained, almost to point of breaking. While at the same time it succinctly depicts how little time the men were allowed or would allow themselves to grieve. A sacrifice in itself but necessary for their own survival at the same time.

Roe is healer. Maybe not medically trained, but he carries peace and compassion in his soul.
God rest you, darling.
