  • That dress doesn't even look like the real one!! LOLZ!

  • @nekoexcel this is absolutely beautiful! Im auditioning for Belle for school soon :) Wish me luck!!hahaha

  • worst belle dress ive ever seen

  • @nekoexcel You have a lot more guts than I ever would have to wear such a beautiful, yet heavy 35 pounds dress you must have very strong legs.

  • that dress is simply stunning! The set is amazing-this show is gorgeous! You guys did an awesome job with this. Belle is so pretty!

  • Ok. If the thing was 35 pounds she would be having a very hard time moving that fast. Unless you know for sure that it was that weight. I know that most gowns are about 15 pounds, or even lighter than that because of the type of whatever they use under the thing to give the dress shape. It does look great though!

  • @bwyfan19 I do know for sure. I'm the one wearing it in the video. We weighed it. It was heavy and difficult to learn to move in. Lots and LOTS of fabric over the hoop skirt.

  • @nekoexcel it may have been a heavy and half dress but it is BY FAR the most BEAUTIFUL version of Beauty's gown I've seen for a play! <3

  • i was mrs. potts in my high school production of this. love this song :)

  • i am going to be mrs potts in my school production of beauty and the beast and i really need help with this song. any pointers?

  • @rockyabody24 don't try to sound old, just try to keep a rich tone. Don't impersonate someone else who has done the role, make it your own :)

  • I am Mrs. Potts in our current play, and I definitely don't have the hang of this song yet. I'm a teenager, and I just can't seem to get it to sound right.

  • O M G amazing

  • amazing. ahhh. love :)

i am belle in my middle school pruduction of beauty and the beast, and this is...STUNNING ;)

  • DANCE WITH HER!!!!!!!

  • As rediculious as it sounds, I want my wedding dress to look like Belle's dress right there.

  • Great job! To everyone!

  • k vestitoooo

  • i'm belle in my community theater's production of Beauty and the Beast, and we are using these same costumes! They are beautiful and the yellow dress is stunning. Waltzing in it is a quite a feat, though! Great job in this!

  • i♥♥♥♥this playyyy i was mrs potts understudy wen our skool did it!

  • l0l love "dance with her!"

  • wow, what a lovely scene! this seems to be a magnificent production. Kudos!

  • <3

I can not wait to direct this show this coming winter. My fave Disney movie of all time.

Whoever played Mrs. Potts did a wonderful job.

  • Musta been a pain learning how to dance, walk and sit in that dress.

  • Ok, just watched this again for the first time in a while, and it's still beautiful :0) Congratulations again on a job well done!!

  • In her typical-ness she is beautiful :)

  • tea pot killed it

  • what a beautiful dress! i've always wanted to be belle in this play

  • Thirty five pounds? Whoa.

    Awesome. :D

  • DANCE WITH HER!!!! LOL

  • lol it sounded like he was the beast yelling haha.

  • my school is doing beauty and the beast. and i am playing belle. my mom has made the yellow dress. but she isn't sure how to make it, ya know, poofy. what did you use?

  • Your so beautiful. I watched you "home" video too (btw couldnt tell you were sick at all :P) You're absolutly inspiring to me. I wish I couldve seen your play

  • I think I went to this play!

  • it's quite possible. What city do you think you saw it in?

  • ohh boy, i bet that dress was fun to learn how to sit in

sit in it the wrong way and itd totally flip up on you x.X

reminds me of little women =/ i miss that play

  • wow, i can hear Mrs. Potts tyring really hard to not to cry. Did she cry at other rehearsals?

  • reminds me of the king and i

  • omg that dresss <3

  • Don't ladys look beautiful in crinoline ball gowns.xxxx

  • the beast is rather handsome

  • I beleive you just need to contact music theatre international in regards to scripts and royalties. Mtishows is their website. Its a dot com, but youtube doesn't allow putting urls in comments.

  • That was amazing....

  • Beauty and the beast<333 love it

  • aaaaah this is so romantic <3 and i love that dress :)

  • I absolutley adore your dress! I am a freshman and actually got the part of Belle in my High School Production. We're renting a copy of the dress that they used on Broadway, but if we had a copy of your dress, I'd be perfectly happy. :].

  • Hehe. I liked my dress better... but I liked Belle's blue dress much better on B-way. BREAK A LEG! Please post videos and share them with us if you can! Keep me updated!

  • I hope I can get a part where I could where a dress like that. You're very pretty btw, I wish I looked like you.

  • will do. :].

  • nice dress looks very hard to get into though

  • your dress is bleeding amazing!!!! mine wasnt so amazing lol. but it worked :D .. this song makes me cry for some strange reason ever since i did the show i find it moving <3 .. me and Rob [beauty and the beast lol] didnt actually dance in ours lol. we just had to sit at the table and pretend to talk <3

  • were doing this production in march.. we havent even started yet but today i was talking to the producer about something completely irrelevant to the musical and she called me mrs. potts as a joke.. so i fi get it i hope i do it as well as this mrs. potts. although i am 17 so we'll see

  • I'm sure you'll be lovely! Break a leg with auditions!!

  • Mrs Potts gave me chills!!! i loved doing this musical.

  • im currently in this producton. And i was wondering where you got your dress.

  • The costumers at the theatre made it.

  • im playing mrs potts in my schoool show in may... i hope i do the part justice!

  • Your costumes are magnificent and the actress who played Mrs. Potts did an excellent version of Beauty and the Beast.

  • how old were all the cast members?

  • It varied. Our youngest was 16... our oldest was a grandmother.

  • Your youngest was 16? how old was the who did Chip?

  • Sorry, I forgot a word. LOL what i meant to say was how old was the kid who portrayed Chip?

  • Um...... 7? I think?

  • was the mrs potts on the other side of the stage thats why they done the fading

  • Yeah. Mrs. Potts was at the side of the stage and the videographer wanted to include her on screen because this is her big song.

  • i can tell Ms. Potts was about too cry. and lol on the 40 pound dress thing. i bet that was heavy.

  • what company is this with??

  • it isn't with one. It's a community theatre production.

  • what community theater??

  • Indianapolis Civic Theatre. Why?

  • i was just in bnb....just wondering....you're great!

  • That was beautiful!x

  • love the dress it looks gorgous but one question how could you keep standing it looks like someone can tip over

  • it really isnt that hard if you look what you see is all that is there there is nothing underneth! a hoop skirt is pushing all the fabric out soo it looks much bigger than it really is!!

  • The dress was still 40 pounds.

  • oh yeah i bet it has a lot of fabric on it! could you imagine if it was all fabric and noo hoop skirt!! it is beautiful dress!!! did you rent it i assume?

  • No. The costume department at the theatre made all the costumes for the show. They rent them out, but it was an expensive show and they require insurance on the costumes. lol

  • She sung the song amazing. Tough to up Angela Lansbury's version but she did phenominal

  • MRS. POTTS DiD VERY VERY WELL.

ALL OF YOUR COSTUMS ARE AMAZiNG,

    i LOVE YOUR DRESS.

WHERE WAS THiS SHOW HELD AT?

  • why did you delete the other videos??

  • The guy who taped them requested that I do. So I obliged.

  • I was wondering where the rest went. Probably for legal reasons though. I gonna miss the others

  • Ditto, I was wondering where the rest went.

:( I liked the other videos.

  • dancing seemed stiff, but of course it is understandable seeing as how you are wearing a dress that ways a ton! XP a wonderful job nonetheless. love the gown by the way. =)

  • and I think some of the stiffness may be the character work as well. The Beast slowly remembering how to be a prince/human (and dancing) and Belle... well... she's definitely not a princess yet. I hope by the end (with the fast Castle spins) it seemed less stiff... that was kind of the aim.

  • I wish I could have a dress like that for prom! Lucky!!!!

  • that dress looked hard to dance in

  • It was relatively difficult to dance in because I was afraid it was going to fall off sometimes. lol

  • the beast looked like he stepped on your dress a few times too

  • Not sure that he did in this recording, but that happened, too. :-)

  • Was the dress uncomfortable, you know, too much room.

  • Not at all. My only worry was it falling off... some of the snaps had to be replaced a few times during the run.

  • Oooo....very uncomfortable feeling.

  • ahhh! its the evil yellow cupcake dress! i hated wearing that stupid thing in my production.

  • Oh.... I LOVED it. :-) The pink gown was my favorite, though.

  • was it literally 35 POUNDS

  • Yes. 35 - 40 lbs. Just as heavy (if not a little heavier) than the one on broadway.

  • Wow, what a beautiful dress! You make a fabulous Belle, but truly hats off to the costume department!

  • This is my favorite romantic scene of all time. And that dress...amazing! I'm guessing that video does not do it justice.

  • I'll try to upload a higher resolution version so you can see it better, but it was a gorgeous dress. My favorite, however, was the pink dress from the library scene.

  • Oh I would be very appreciative of that, the dress is simply amazing...kudos to the costume department. Oh and did I mention that you make an incredible and beautiful Belle! Indeed! What can I say; I have a weakness for pretty girls in big bouffant ball gowns.

  • Oh my gosh you were beautiful in that dress! (no pun intended) I hate that they're taking it off Broadway!!

  • I do, too. But I'd love to see it done a little differently. It feels a little tired on Broadway now. I am excited to see how they do TLM, though.

  • Love this part! Your dress is phenomenal! Props to the costume department! I just love those huge hoop dresses, you look like a princess!

  • The costume department there is PHENOMINAL. This dress was supposedly the most expensive out of the entire show and that was really daunting. lol Wearing a hoop took a lot of practice, and the dress was heavy (30 lbs), but it was really fun.

  • OH MY GOD! <333333333 ^.^ This is incredible! You guys are just amazing!

  • I l;ike the way u have put mrs potts infront of the show. i noticed u edited it, well done

  • it seems like everything is so rushed in the beginning :/ it feels as if beast and belle never really get a chance to get comfortable with each others company

  • They do as they dance. It's in their facial expressions and body movement throughout the dance. And Belle's reaction to what the Beast does at dinner. It's hard to see on such a small video, but their facial expressions, Belle's laughter, and body movement were much easier to read actually IN the theatre. :-) But yes, much of the growth occurs in the actual dance portion.

  • It's funny you should mention that - I've always thought it was a bit rushed in the movie, since it was a movie and couldn't be as long as a Broadway play. But I'm finding that everything works so much better (and Belle actually gets to sing, yay!) the way it's timed in the musical.

    Great job!

  • seems like you're a BATB freak (just like me!).. where is this musical production from?

  • This was from the Indianapolis Civic Theatre production I was in.

  • *sighs* beautiful! reminds me of the german musical production i have seen last year :) it's so sad BATB is closing on broadway :(

  • Yeah it is! But I saw it the other day and it's starting to feel very tired and lacking energy. It needs to be reblocked/recostumed/rechoreographed to wake it up. Maybe they'll do a revival within 5 years like they did with Les Miz. :-)

  • oh, seems like you really know what you're talking about :) if they really need a break it's ok. most important to me is that there IS a revival. what other musicals did you see?

  • who did you portray?

  • Belle

  • oh you are so good! can i have an autograph! :)

  • Beautiful. *sniffles*

  • You make a darling Belle. Such a sweet performance. The violin sounds a bit squeaky in the beginning, but that's understandable. It's quite difficult to play on the upper strings of a violin without the rest of the orchestra, not that I'd know... *mumbles incoherently about being stuck as a second violin*

Anyway, I love it! One of the best performances I've seen...

  • Oh, beautiful! This looks like a great production!

  • Thank you! (on both counts) :-) I have a lot of clips uploaded, feel free to check them out.

  • Lovely!
