I think it's interesting that Arsenio had lots of action stars on his show. And who would have guessed that years later, he'd be co-starring with Sammo Law himself in the hit series Martial Law.
This is my favorite Van Damme interview. He really was happy here and proud of himself. I wish he still had that spark in his eyes. He seems really sad now.
i like seagal better than van damme but by the interviews ive seen van damme funnier than seagal. i think seagals afraid of hurting someones feelings or saying something wrong by bein funny and give the guy a break hes on national tv. but a lot of actors that have worked with him said he had a great sense of humor and behind the scenes on some of his movies he was funny. seagal in my opinion is better than van damme.
I swear Van Damme and Arsenio could be real brothers man. I would believe that they are friends til this day. I cant count how many times he's been on this show!!! Great
Vandamme was nice when asked about steven seagal. However, seagal acted like an utter fool and disrespectful when asked about vandamme. Bad symbol i should say.
He's so much more enjoyable to watch than that boring egomaniac Seagal.
Watch Seagal's interview on Arsenio; it's here on YouTube. He's a fucking boringass idiot and spends literally 3/4 of his interview complaining about the tabloids and 1/4 bashing Van Damme, because he feels threatened by Van Damme's youth, good looks, and personality.
They applaud more for Van Damme because he's animated, makes jokes, and is enjoyable to watch. In short; he has a personality.
Watch Seagal's interview; it's hilarious for all the wrong reasons. He's stone cold, insanely boring, rambles on and on, and doesn't answer questions correctly when asked simple ones.
In clip 4:34 he seems to think very carefully about that answer since he did hurt a stuntman in a fight sence in Cyborg. But no matter what he's not perfect everyone makes mistakes shit I do miss Arsineo I use to watch his every night.
Actually he DID say in an interview that twice people have got hurt. One was in Cyborg and the other in his first fight scene in Bloodsport when he elbows the guy.
watching van damme kick is like watching a cheetah in full sprint.

This show was great because of many factors.
The first is that Arsenio has such an angel!!! This involved a great smile and quick wit.
The second is that that Arsenio made more than relevant questions, he's sharp and concise.
The third is that the guests were always hot and very interesting people, not like nowadays those famewhores that fill the regular programming.
The forth is that Arsenio was the best host because he made his guests feel more than comfortable. Just look at van Damme here!!!

He bend over backwards to the producer of his first movie. Now you won't find this in any tabloid
