i have 1 but i don't spend 2 much time with him and he is fine..when i do spend time with him all he does is sit on my shoulder.. i just love him and he copies any sound i'd make.. mimicsss everything.. tryin 2 teach how 2 talk now.. lets c how that goes ;p he is sooo cute and the best pet ever :))))

LOL! We learned of the parrotlet 'destroy everything in sight' nature the hard way.

Jack, our little guy, has destroyed several magazines, academic books and important papers.... even the edges of a bible! lol!

Now we try and keep all important shreddable stuff out of her known play areas lol!

Beware. I have a blue one, Buttons, and he's an IMP. All caps. I mean, he's very sweet to me, but parrotlets tend to pick faves in the family, destroy things, and they have hard, strong beaks. Very cute birdies though, and they're very sweet and kind and cuddly if they like you.

Of course two! If you have only one parrot you have to spend a lot of time with it (and I dont mean 1-2 hours a day). They need a partner to be happy, the best choice is always another parrot.

Winkie must be odd, he doesn't perpetuate as much mischief as your 2. He is a shoulder bug. So all of us have chewed up shirt collars. He also likes chewing the edges of the books I am reading.
