  • *drool*

  • is this on pc

  • @EllusiveMusic yess it is ;)

  • @mansardian i also typed in "mansardian" in the search bar , i didn't see anything to do with music at all, let alone "news signatures". Regarding Superior Drummer 2 " In case you bought it legally you surely have the manual which explains how things had been recorded" if you actually did read the SD2 manual we wouldnt even be having this conversation, please please, dont do any engineering on any of my music ever will you. I wont talk anymore.

  • @mansardian reason drumkits weigh less than 2 gigs compared to Superior Drummer 2 , like i said the metal foundry pack is over 39 gig. The RDK processing is limited and leveled, its not a raw feed, they are just about polished from the start, and the drums sound like crap, Superiour Drummer2 allows you to tweak transients and pre and post busses, bleed levels, mic types including bullet etc etc. "I AM an audio engineer" yeah i fixed a lawnmower once, dosent make me a mechanic.

  • @mansardian "audio engineers like me" you,re not an audi engineer in the sense that you actually know what you are talking about, you're a moron dreamer, fuck off and don't talk to me.

  • @mansardian firstly " uses the same samples as superior Drummer" not really, theres metal foundry, avatar studios and a host of other packs, metal foundry is 39 gig , reason drunkits 24bit is 1.99 gig, i also have both "So what if I dislike the sounds?" umm i dunno, i guess you wont be using them then, who mentioned anything about you not liking any sounds?, was i inadvertently talking about you?, you do know what "imo" means right?. "Reason´s Drums are not processed" yes they are.

  • @mansardian Im not really sure how to do what you are saying, would it be possible for you to post a video tutorial on how to do this?

  • Are the Hi Hats Variable? Is reason drum kits edrum friendly?

  • Reason drums dont compare to Superior Drummer 2 imo, but the synths and piano's are great, as is the user friendlyness of the entire product, but yeah the drums are good but not as realistic as Superior Drummer, but for electronic dance and hip hop its great :o)

  • rammstein on the background!!!!!

  • 3:55 Cubase does that

  • God this is like Paid Programming they tell you the same thing over and over and over.

  • Ok. You can make a lot of noise with that, but can you emulate very subtle and dramatic brush sticks for jazz or bossa nova?

  • @lawnelson yes

  • Haha the rammstein poster.

  • Estou testando... Muito bom... alta definição dos beats de bateria.

  • LOL @ the box just dropping in outta nowhere.

  • And so is your Face. Asswipe

  • Better yet if all you have is reason save yourself 70 bucks and get Doru Malia's SuperDrums 8000 and load the wav files into redrum. There is a reason refill of SuperDrums but the wav files sound better and you get a bigger selection.

  • This is a decent refill but I just think it's very difficult to use if you want to tweak or build your own drum set. Even if you know what you're doing it will take a long time to create your own set. The kits of redrum sound bad but to create an nn-xt patch for each set it a pain in the but, not only that you have to shape each drum piece with eq and reverb. You're better off with addictive drums or battery 3 if you can afford it. Reason was not made with drums in mind.

  • Will this only work in Reason? Or can I use this in another program?

  • @DJGuitarist4God

No, but if you use ReWire, you can process your drums through another program.

  • When it was loading the library it looked like .wav files...they should work fine elsewhere.

  • wrong, they are wave files but you can only access them through reason refills.

  • do i need a keyboard in my computer to play it?

  • No, but it will help to have one - you can do it manually on screen...

  • LOL 3:24

  • loved that drums at 6:26 so dry and clean

  • I'm sorry but the dude in that commercial is totally lame looking.

  • Queerrrr

  • LOL They did that on purpose.

  • @dirtyrottensecret I think that is the point...

  • how do i load them into reason?

  • creating a new instrument (NNXT, NN19, combinator), and search the "reason drum kits 2.0) and it shows all the patches and instruments...

  • i have it, and it's very usable the sound quality is great and was very extensive if you know what you want, but for hit hat roll and Snare roll i prefered sometimes do real thing with my real acoustic drumset, but honestly RDK2 is awesome.

  • what i need to use reason drum kit and reason bass kit? do i need some other software?

  • Do you know if these come as Combi patches?

  • Yea. There is an assortment. I read that at Propellerhead's website. They got like "Rock," "Dance," "hip hop," "Kompakt," "Energy" and some other ones.

  • Ignore that. I can see they do :\

  • 1/3 CLOSED = 2/3 OPEN????

  • no____________

  • drum kits 2.0 is LA CUMBIAAA!!!!!!

  • Questions for those who have got this refill,

    What are HH like?

    Are they multi variable?

I'm hoping they have at least around 7 conditions eg:

    Closed - 2/3 closed - 1/3 closed - half open - 1/3 open - 2/3 open - open

  • In most of the kits you'll find in Reason you'll get about 4 velocity levels per sample and about 4 different sounds.

Usually you'll have a closed hat, an open hat with "choking" as an added effect when the closed hat is played afterwards, a crash and a ride.

Believe me, with the tweaks you can do with sample length, pitch and other parameters the tweaking and dynamics of your hats are entirely dependent on how deep you dive into the program.

  • Thanks for the reply though I've decided BFD2 will be better for me as I need Roland Vdrum support

  • I don't know if RDK2 is good, but this advert is great! Hahah

  • This advert got me...... I'm buying it :-)))))

  • HANDS DOWN!!!

  • Excellent presentations & excellent products. You have made 4 sales (R4 & 3 refills) through your well thought out presentations. Plus, I'm spreading the word.

    Signed,

    The converted

Where converted = once only tactile instruments but now electronic too ;-)
