This might as well have been a Handicapped Match between Demolition and Haku...poor Andre looked horrible...and I do NOT mean that as an insult. He was REALLY weak by this time. Nice though to see him go out ("one last time") the way he did for so many years: to great ovations...

@MWM1978 I agree 100%! I think we are right around the same age and that was def my favorite time in wrestling history! I never watch now, only when my 9yr old nephew wants me 2 watch with him. Its a different kind of product with a different fanbase. I havnt watched consistently since a lil b4 vince bought out wcw.

@tonypanz Yeah when the Whole WWF vs WCW crap came up is when all the big stars that MADE wwf what it is started to either retire or just vanish off the scene, Only two I keep tabs on after 2000 was for awhile shawn michaels, but now its just the Undertaker I keep an Eye on, but I think he may be gone after the next wrestlemania to see if they round him off at 20-0 for the record.

@MWM1978 We took my nephew to a smackdown taping earlier this yr before wrestlemania and the coolest part to me was an Undertaker promo he did about wrestlemania. He also got the biggest pop of the whole show! I didnt know who half the guys wreslting that night but they didnt have the same magic as our favorites from the 80s and 90s lol! its just not the same.

Demolition should go into the Hall of Fame. Haku too. Look at how he battled two guys for over 15 minutes to help Andre rest his back and for the fans to get their money's worth .

Hogan did walk in Andre's footsteps. Andre came in a heel and left as a face. The fans could not hold back their adoration for Andre. The exact same thing would happen when Hogan faced the Rock years later.RIP Andre.

@jayb1964 Oh please, the Brain and Andre got along great on screen and off screen. Andre was known to be a lot more friendly than his on screen character showed him to be. The Brain always sells punches and hits a little to much that is why he was always a joy to watch; cause you loved to hate him. I'm sure Andre may have hitted Heenan harder than planned but neither one hated each other after to my knowledge.

Notice how Haku is doing the majority of the work? That's because Andre had really horrible back problems by this point and couldn't go like he used to. Haku did the work so Andre could rest his bad back.

My guess is if they used Demolition Daze, they might have had to pay money to Rick Derringer. Usually when they re-dub music, it means WWE doesn't own the rights to it.

Most of the new WWE dvd's overdub a lot of music. Pisses me off. They overdubbed "Jive Soul Bro" with Akeem. I think they overdubbed Boss Man's face theme music too. They played Boss Man's heel theme instead. Stranglely enough, they play Boss Man's face music on other WWE releases....

WWE did a horrible job on the overdub. Listen close and you can hear the Derringer music playing in the background. Same with Akeem's music. I would feel ripped off buying the WrestleMania Anthology and having the F in WWF bleeped and all the classic theme music overdubbed!

Unfortunately, the WWE doesn't own the rights to the WWF trademark or name anymore. So with the name and logo change, some of the music went out the window with the naming and licensing rights. Demolition's theme music happened to be one of the casualties. I really hate this music and it makes me question whether or not i should get the WrestleMania collection. There are more themes that have been altered and changed as well. I hope they bring back the original theme and decide to use it again.

Of all the music edits done in the Wrestlemania anthology, Demolition's has to be the worst. WWE has the rights to use Demolition's real theme again along with a few others, so THIS SET NEEDS TO BE RE-RELEASED!

It's great to see the full match (over half was cut on the VHS), but that doesn't make up for that horrible music edit in my opinion.
