would love to see more of your westerner, we got lucky and found one, just finished the inside of it, I side with the dog, she needs to be free, she would not hurt a fly,lol
This is a great rally & I really enjoyed watching last year's video. Sorry Tabby has to be chained. We are all on her side. This just isn't fair to chain such a cool, lovable friend like Tabby.
I actually went camping in Wrightwood in 1956 with my school chum and her family. Her parents stayed & cooked in small trailer. We six kids slept in tents. We were chased by a mother bear with her cub too. Great fun!
See Airstream Europe homepage for how they had to adapt to suit EU regulations and rules. Eventually, I will move back from Japan to Europe and therefore the running gear etc would have to be changed to suit Europe (and my THULE BRINK hitch also) anyway. You can find it from the Airstream homepage.
I really enjoy your videos. Like yourself, I am a big trailer fan. I have the potential to buy an early 1990's UK Caravan (equates to a vintage almost!) here in Japan which has been restored in terms of fixing water ingress damage. I would like to do some more work on it going forward. Unfortunately, the front and back use FRP which is not as appealing (or long lasting) as aluminum skin of course. Still, European trailers are best suited for the narrow & hilly Japanese roads.
Wow 1990s is almost brand new compared to the trailers I go for. You might like an old Silver Streak as they are long and skinny. All aluminum and polished.
As soon as I read your reply, I did a search and found a Silver Streak brochure! VERY nice trailer, but too big for me. Maybe you can help: my hitch has a down rating of max 135kg (297lbs) and a towing weight max of 7,716. To be able to tow on a regular licence, the trailer should not exceed 1,653 lbs. Max width should be 90inches. Except for teardrops, any good vintage trailers in this bracket out there? I could get the towing licence, thus over 750kg would be ok..ideas?
