  • Beautiful. I got to play this with Osibisa's current drummer, these guys are awesome....

  • really this song brings back old memories and it makes me cry. its a song for the hopeless to get hope and weaks to be strong.thanks for these posting, you really make my day. again thanks

  • This song always makes me feel good. Saw the band at The Lyceum, Strand, London, 1970, they were fabulous, first tour in the UK I think, may have been supporting a band named Mighty Baby, not sure, or they may have headlined. They still going, played a set for kids & parents at Woolwich Poly School, SE London last year

  • OSIBISA & 'Woyaya'.... What a GREAT Band from the early 70's. First heard them from friends when in London in 71-72, fell in love with their happy, spiritual, rhythmic lyrics and beats. 'Wayaya' to me, was their best. Proud to know that Robert Bailey of T&T, was a part of this group. Have not heard their music since mid 70's. Reminds me a lot of Andre Tanker's music as well. Thanks Osibisa for the music, blessings to you all.

  • A song to sing out loud in front of all the disaster prophet around today! We will get there... we know we will!!!

  • Battery Recharged!!! God Bless you'll !!

  • Back in the late 80s, bought this album in a used record store for the Roger Dean artwork. What a treat to drop it on the turntable and find all these gems! Wonderful, wonderful music. Wish I had caught it when it was new. My younger life may have been different. :)

  • Osibisa at their best

  • Men I just listened to the song, its a real Great songs and as I listen to it, it brings memories of when we were young and had Great ambitions. Lets reconnect people

  • @thads045 We are reconnecting now...Occupy Portland too. About time!!

  • I had this album in the 70's...I loved it. It has so much spirit in it! It's so great to hear it again.

  • Osibisa are a great group that brought memories onto me as a youth.

Their hit, Woyaya is an excellent song and comes from our comedy in Ghana, Osofo Dadzie and it is great that Osibisa inspired us with their track.

Osibisa are a great self-conscious roots and cultural group for our people across the globe.

    RIP, Bro. Mac Tontoh

  • Woyaye

Üdv a faternak!

  • Was very lucky to see Osibisa live about 25 years ago in Auckland. Already had 2-3 of there albums. The live concert was mind blowing, even at my age.

  • I saw this band at the Dagenham Roundhouse about this time. As soon as they came on stage the whole place went wild. A truly brilliant band , lets hope we do get there love and peace to you all

  • First heard the song in 1972, doing grade 8. Long Live OSIBISA

  • We are going..... Heaven knows where we are going......... We will know we're there....... We will get there........ Heaven knows how we will get there ........We know we will...... It will be hard we know....... And the road will be muddy and rough...... But we'll get there........ Heaven knows how we will get there......... We know we will.......... We are going Heaven knows where we are going ..........We will know we're there........AMEN!!!!

  • To me this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. A song of hope, of humbleness, a song for never giving up. It brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for posting.
