  • The assumption of apostolic hierarchy you justify is not based on Christ's teaching, there is no evidence that God wanted a hierarchy of men to curate his message. You say its not a matter of rights but go on to list papal ascent from Peter. Essentially the people around him were all Gods instruments and although acknowledging this you avoid discussing the Pope's roll as "mouth piece for God" or the intecessionary status clergy assumes. Working towards perfection requires transformation.

  • The question now becomes how do women go about acquiring power within the Church? Aren't doctrinal decisions given from the pope and the bishops? Women cannot become the pope or a bishop.

    How does the Church distribute power within it?
