You know, when Kermit says "The first thing to go on a frog is its legs", but that is completely contradicted in "The Muppet Movie" when he says, "The first thing to go on a frog is its tongue."
The 'Kid Fozzie' skit is an instant gem,Fozzie's John Wayne impersonation and use of vegetables as weapons are just two examples of Jim Henson's comic magic. Also,I never noticed how lethargic Statler and Waldorf were in Season 1. It's good that they've become more aggressive in their abuse towards Kermit and crew later on.
Yes and no. In the first season, when Frank Oz was playing another muppet, they would have Richard hunt perform Miss Piggy. But once she became an established chracter, Oz performed her full-time.
i think richard was miss piggy because frank thought he wasnt as strong a singer as richard until frank found his voice and became mrs piggy, also no guest star ever repeated an appearance
I really loved this talk spot with Dancer Julliet Prowse and Kermit in the 1st pilot of The Muppet Show. South African Dancer Julliet Prowse was such A Beautiful Woman! God Bless Julliet Prowse and Jim Henson- May they both rest in peace in eternal life in heaven.
Both Jim Henson and Julliet Prowse were born a day apart -sept 18th,1936 for Jim Henson- Julliet Prowse was born on sept 17,1936 a year before.Julliet Prowse was such a beautiful woman! And Jim Henson was a legend. May they both rest in peace in heaven
In Season 1, Richard Hunt and Frank Oz took turns voicing Miss Piggy. At 0:23 (during the dance scene) it's Richard. During the glee club scene (in Part 3) Frank does her speaking voice, but Richard does her singing voice.
was this in the 80s?
