Probably the biggest flaw about this game is that both characters are the worst characters ever to live in video games. The Majin is very old and use to be very strong, and being old you'd expect him to be smart and wise, but alas he is mentally retarded. Why is it that every thing I see big guys in like this they are always slow and dumb? The thief runs out of breath every 15 or 30 seconds, even though he's suppose to have talent or something. And not to mention he's a weakling..

If you like Zelda or Metroid this game has a bit of both with some original ideas as well.

I played the demo, it was decent demo with simplistic, if sometimes frustrating combat, not much to say for the voice acting and while the graphics are indead detailed they aren't crisp and seem muddied. The story sounds good and solid so I believe that could be the highlight.

I wouldn't pay the current price for it, but maybe once it gets lowered I'll give it a try. =/

Okay - so I spotted this game by random chance back in September. I had nearly forgotten about it until I came across an ad that, to my disbelief, revealed that it had been released.

For the love of god market the heck out of this thing! I can't believe I can't find a ton of reviews on it (what I have found is all positive!).

Looked promising but the demo left me underwhelmed. There's one button for combat so it gets a bit boring. The Majin does everything but you cant control him. The stealth elements are pointless. And the platforming is rather non existent.

The worst was enemies take too long to kill, and can attack you while you are attacking them.

It all looked very promising. The art was superb and the and graphics were great.Ill have to see if the final game is decent or not.

@120Vanquish120 I agree 100% with your assessment of the demo. I really want this to be good for some reason and the combat is just bland. It shows some promise with double team combos but I dunno. If you learn more moves it would help. The platforming is okay but definitly no Prince Of Persia. The only thing keeping me hoping is the Castlevania demo sucked but the game was amazing!

The demo is amazing. Just the emotion you get from the big guy is amazing, plus strateic real-time action ties it all together!! In my opinion it is one of the best games since i've played the Kingdom Hearts games and Final Fantasy XII (12) =)

Does the main character look more colorful in the trailer than the demo??? I know trailers usually have better graphics but the character in the trailer seems to have more color too him, but I hope in the final game, the character does have more brighter colors, he should at least. I really like the demo. Its got that typical Game Republic feel to it although Folklore still seems to look more impressive. Todays games aren't like this anymore and thats why this is a welcome change of pace.

I like the Majin a lot, but the VA hurts him a bit too much. Its too often, too forced and too deliberately dumb. I'm sure his appearance would be stronger without VA and with just facial expressions. That would be Team ICO like.
