Uhh....he uses a tremello. He uses the feedback just for the very beginning. I don't have a tremello and my amp is tiny...so I can't do either.

he gets the feedback so he can tell when the tremolo is going... like the beat so he can time it right... dont act like u know it all bryce... gotta use logistics

its tremolo lol..but tremolo is kinda hard to explain..it makes the note you play repeat without having to tremolo pick(picking really really fast)..some amps such as the line 6 spider 3 have the tremolo effect built into them but you cant adjust the settings on it..your best bet is a pedal(best is the boss tr-2)where you can set how many repeats the depth and the wave of it

Where was the verse?

thats the part im stuck on. i cant figure out how to get taht effect

The verse is just using the wah pedal and sturmming the 6th string open then hammering on the 2nd fret. and just repeating that till the chorus.

just 2. you basically just need to have one pickup on and one pickup off. you dont need a switch for both pickups unelss you want it.

Nice cover but where did you get the tabs for this? every tab i come across just has single notes for the verse/chorus instead of cords

Umm....I kind of listened by ear. It's just like the bridge with single notes, but make them power chords, that's about it for the chorus. It's just the bridge turned into power chords, but yeah....the verse is just playing the 6th sting open then hammering on the 2nd fret immediatly with some wah added to it.

I usually play with my two primary guitars, was never a fan of what's new, I jsut play with guitars that I can find. I also have another electric, but it really has no use to me at the moment, and I also have two acoustics. I use those to play Nightwatchman and Chris Cornell stuff. ya know. you could just get a tremolo pedal for the beginning instead of using your killswitch. also using the killswitch could fuck up your guitar, it fucked up my SG. I had to get the SG fixed. just a caution and a tip.
