@cardboardcat15 you either start as a freelancer in some local PA company and if you show some interest and skill you might go up the hierarchy with a time or you go to get enigneer degree in some technical university and then get some PA company to hire you as a specialist. Both can take about same time.

is hard work and movement that must be done and takes a long time to put together and this does not seem the best technique because what we want is that you can build in the shortest possible time, have to think about other ways to assemble these speakers
@ffgato76 well, out guys been pushing different rigs arround long before and when we created the system we wanted it to be as portable as possible. This way you need only 2 people to carry whole rig. If it was done like Meyer style when there is dolly with 4 boxes stacked you wouldn't be able to get that upstairs and up/down the ramp without equipment. The system has been out for more than 200 events and so far no problems with assembly speed - whole rig (28 boxes) go up in less than hour.
@ManRossDamn the single box weigth is 54kg, so not much load. The chain hoist is rated at 1t (using 1:8 safety ratio). This one doesn't have double brake, so it can bet used for lifting only, suspension has to be done with wire rope or sling.
OK , Now the DOWN SIDE as I See it .. You keep seeing them reach over to a can and pulling out the Pins to put the cabinets together . As I see it that makes them easy to lose . Why not make each cabinet hold the right amount of pins needed to fly each cabinet . Say you get to the gig and look at each other and say , DID YOU GET THE CAN OF PINS , and they are sitting back at the shop 200 miles away ... IT HAS HAPPENED .... GOOD LUCK ....
@BigHeartedMan65 well, I see your point, but there really is no place to put pins with cabinet, so we decided to have them with frames and bring always some extra. If we forget the frame box, then there is no need for pins anymore, is there? :)
Yup, people form Next (CVA) did a great work here. Most PA engineers are blown away by performance and list price of this system. We had several major local festivals with B class stars (Kate Ryan, Safri Duo, Mando Diao, etc.) - only good references. I've also supplied this kind of rigging solution for other brands speakers.
Portugal is the BEST!!!!! Next is a portuguese company that some people knows has CVA!!!! congratulations for the system! I have the same system than you! felicidad!!!
Nope, no US activities so far - just Baltic states and bit of Scandinavia. If question stands about the solution shown in video, Next factory agreed that we produce and supply these parts for anyone interested.
You're right, no cables were attached as this video was done in our warehouse to show just rigging procedure. Cables are about 90 seconds for such configuration.
P.S. we did some bigger rigs this summer, with 14 boxes per frame and it went with no problems.
QSC KLA line array is easier to fly

It was great work.
That is a good concern from BigHeartedMan65. How about insert those pins in speaker handle, cover or under the trolly with some kind of small bag?
leefanyee 1 year ago
@leefanyee, well there actually is no problem to keep the pins in frame box. No frames, no pins :)
