but then i think .. according to Jesus "WE DON'T CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE CHOSE US" .. giving me this picture .. for example, i want to immigrate into Canada (that's not my point) .. whether i could immigrate or not depends on "the immigration officer" .. if he chooses me, i can immigrate .. if he doesn't choose me, i just can't
we're from this world, we want to immigrate into heaven .. but it's up to God "WHETHER HE CHOOSES US OR NOT" ... so we could get a ticket to heaven
i think .. it's good to be born in the times of Jesus (so we could be closed to him, talk, touch, follow him) ... but it's not good (in terms of not being able to see the whole picture)
nowadays, we couldn't do things with him .. however, we could see the whole picture (from the complete bible)
it's like .. in the year of 2010 ... we know what happened in 2009 (which we didn't know when we were at the beginning of 2009) ...
which means it's easier for us to have faith (than these people)?

2. Jesus The Son : executes the plan
3. Holy The Spirit : stays side by side with us (to keep us on the track)
@100tuyetvan There is but one God! The terms Father, Son and Holy Spirit is God speaking with an impediment to us to assist our understanding. Otherwise it would be impossible for us to grasp the nature of His existence. Christianity is Monotheistic- ONE GOD- not three.
@cvid2011 ok, if you talk in terms of "Trinity" .. the way i understand is that ... THE FATHER "draws" the saving plan ... THE SON "executes" the plan ... THE HOLY SPIRIT is sent to keep us in track and help us to pray to the FATHER (if you check Romans 8:26-30)
btw, this is my favorite verse .. it's true that sometimes, i pray, and then my mind wander around, couldn't concentrate on what i'm praying .. then, i believe the Spirit will pray for me .. He knows what i need and can read God's mind

i'm happy that i got this sermon downloaded to my ipod before it disappeared from the site: if you read II CHRONICLES 20 about KING JEHOSAPHAT
The sermon was about:
1. Read the bible => so we know God's promises
2. When we pray, hold on to those promises (like .. dad, you promise ..)
3. Be specific in what we're asking
4. Have faith "nothing is impossible for Him"
5. Remember WHAT He did in the PAST (for us, or for people in the bible)

The Lamb of God ... would be Jesus
The Center of the plan ... would be THE CROSS

@cvid2011 the concept about "Trinity" is very confusing, i kept thinking about it .. and finally, i got it
for example, A & B & C ... are 3 different individuals, but they share "1 substance - human being"
the same, God & Jesus & Holy Spirit ... are 3 different individuals, but they share "1 substance - God"
