  • People don't thing a cat. 2 can do that much, but my cousin live where the eye-wall hit. She evacuated, and to came back to a lot destruction.

  • This is one of the best compilations Dj, I like the ones you have that kinda give us a 4-5 day time line of the storm

Isabel, Floyd, Katrina and Andrew are your best ones. I wish they were all like that

I especially would have loved a more detailed compilation of Charley, Frances and Jeanne, since I went through all 3 of them in Central Florida in 2004

  • She's saying it was a 2 but I remember clearly that it hit NC as a 4 and then weakened to a 3-2 around MD

  • Nope it offically made landfall as a cat 2...alot of shear got to it after it was a 4/5 and weakened it...but like Katrina it still had plenty of energy from when it was a 4/5 so it carried that with it to landfall..therefore probably seemed stronger than a 2.

  • no it was a 2 when it hit NC ,,, it was a 3 and 4 just a couple of days before it hit..

  • Was this the first time storm alert was used?

  • No, they used it for Lili the year before. I don't when they first used it.

  • Lili was Alert Mode...this was really the first time they called it Storm Alert

  • WHAT IS THAT
