The 71 Puma at 4:18 was my first sled, although that appears to be a 440 version. I had a 399 with the kawasaki axial flow engine. You don't see many left around, great to see one in this shape. I don't know how many miles I put on that sled, but it was a lot. Seems like we had a lot more snow when I was young.
Some great old sleds. Thank you for posting this. Think I saw an EXT like I had as a teenager. My buddy had a TNT silver bullet, it's great to see one in that shape. BRP should do a retro silver TNT.
I saw in slides, 1976 Sno Jet SST 440...well, I had one and I tell ya what it went faster than a 1986 Arctic Cat Jag 440. We raced across a 1/2 mile long corn field in MN, I weighed in at about 14yrs/150#s and the other kid was a moto-X racer in summer 13yrs/110#s.He got the hole shot maybe 3 sled links till 1/2 the field and I blew past him speed about 70's or more when I ran out of room at the end of the field I looked at speedo 76mph or more. Friend told me he hit 45mph and it sat there.
How about a 12/3 ski-doo...or a silver bullet ski-doo tnt 440. 12/3 was first i ever drove..probably 13 yrs old while the silver bullet tnt 440 ski-doo as the first i ever owned. Asa a private snowmobile club with 10 members we traveled from ogdnsburg ny to eagle river wisconsin around 1977 or so. The snowmobile club was named "The Seaway wanderers". And made several trips well over 1000 miles each. Just a bunch of workin joes havin fun.
nice , i hate it but i just sold my bullwhip and my dator a couple years ago , i learned that there is always someone out there with more money than me and willing to spend it more than myself

I love older sleds too. I have an '81 Polaris Gemini and an '87 Ski Doo Formula Plus.
Your vintage sled show video is GREAT, thanks for sharing!
