  • I imagine it has to do with the difference in conductivity of 304 vs 302 ss. Try putting your multimeter to it on the resistance setting and see what you get from each one...then please post the results if you think of it. Keep up the hho work! Thanks!

  • Our local Home Depot pulled their stainless steel electrical cover plates of all types because they found out people were buying them to make HHO generators. Imagine that! The store manager told me they wanted no responsibility in anyone getting hurt with one blowing up and then blaming HD because of their plates. As a small contractor I thought it was a bad business decision. I told the manager as such and used the wording "You're cutting off your nose to spite your face". Thanks, David.

  • That's amazing... you're right... after all why would someone blame them over using their plates for something other than what they were made for.

    Hmm... perhaps big oil had shares in Home Depot?

  • Thanks for the response. I calculate 1.9 millileters/watt*min which is about 40% of the best efficiency I've seen (~5 MMW), so not to shabby. Could be the Home Depot plates has some coating. Did you try polishing the plates?

  • There was a thin plastic film over the plates, which I removed. I also gave them a good graining with a course metal file before use.

  • Thanks for the interesting video. I can't see which one is making more gas. What is the voltage and current? Have you measured gas production rate (liters/minute) and at what current?

  • I measured the production of the complete setup at approx 1.2 LPM.

    The Lowes plates produced a lot better than the Home depot plates in this video.

    Voltage was 13.8v current was steady at just over 45 amps. This setup was very inefficient and I'm working on a completely new setup.
