  • so that s how it feels sometimes in the right constellationa at the right time a beautiful moment. Sad for the audience the y split up so quickly --> to play base with oasis must feel the same like fulminantly keeping a burning down house .alive Waht a shame they could not go any steps further in their time. It s that wallowing feeling of teh early ninetees young boys vision of a reborn something going on in europe full of fresh taste hope and lot of attitude. It maes me innocent again.

  • @witness1ish You should listen to Calm as the Colour, new band and are massively influenced by Ride :)

  • @eternalshoegazer Thanks for response. Listened to themthey`re not bad either, do they have an album out on the continent?

  • @witness1ish Was being a little cheeky in that they're my band ;) I'm the guitar player and I'm a HUUUUUUGE Ride fan :) No albums yet, we're still plugging away trying to get a record deal here in the UK. Gonna' be cutting an ep soon in the next month or so which'll be free to download! Cheers :)

  • @eternalshoegazer come make holidays in switzerland i ll record you without stress.

    Greetz from Zurich smackdowntown

  • @witness1ish We ever get enough money together I'd love to come to Switzerland sometime XD

  • this song is beautiful

  • Loz!!!

  • such nice sounding music

  • Amazing song. Looking back, they were way, way, way ahead of their time

  • they look like teen kids here :D

  • Pure class, seen them live twice, superb.

  • @dibzzz Pure, Pure class. 90's indie eat your heart out

  • This reminds me of happier times in my life. Such beautiful music.

  • I don't want to wake up and see the sun, i wanna wake up and see clouds in the sky......Forever Love RIDE / CHAPTERHOUSE / SLOWDIVE

  • @karziflora

mazzy star my bloody valentine lush thousand yard stare

  • I hate to be THAT guy who always complains about how English music just hasn't been as good as this for years...

  • I am blown away! This band is so amazing!

  • Wow! Ride was one of my favorite bands of the 90's, but I'd never heard this song till now. Thanks for posting!!! :)

  • @hendrixgreengilmour

It was only released on an EP is why you've never heard it. Today Forever (the EP's name) is widely considered to be the best British EP since William, it was Really Nothing by the Smiths.

  • Ah, Andy Bell.. Why won't u just leave Liam..??! The Beady Eye? What a SHAME NAME??!!!

  • Akh, Andy Bell still with Liam and are turning their ash to 'The Beady Eye'

what a fookin name, Liam :|

  • class

  • Thanks for putting this up. This is such a great song and I'm glad someone out there has kept it alive for both diehards like me and others who have the fortune of discovering Ride for the first time.

  • last thing i remember...i dont know

  • I wish I was 12 again. Thanks for the memories.

  • 16 for me LOL...wow I STILL love this song though <3

  • Great song

  • This song reminds me of coming back to London from Warrington after a really shitty, depressing weekend there

  • The way I see it, he probably has bills to pay, he's still playing music...does he fuck with you for flipping burgers???

  • lulz

  • It must be weird to be the frontman/guitarist/songwriter of a brilliant band and then just to jack it in to play bass on somebody else's (inferior) songs just for the cash. How does Andy Bell look at himself in the mirror?

  • I think the band's real charm wasn't in Andy Bell. I think Mark Gardener was a vastly superior song writer and had an equally pretty voice. If you've listen to their last two albums, and if indeed you have I'm sorry about the torture you must have gone through, Gardener's songs are far more put together than Bell's.

  • Gardener only wrote one song on the last album.

  • @the band's charm was in all of them and the incredible music they produced.

  • brings back a ton of memories...

  • Indeed...pure indie innocence.

  • too beautifull - an old favoutrite of mine

  • before i got old, i was awesome. i remember this song.
